Comments : Sample -2 was analyzed 4 days past the 14 day holding t ime. Acetone, cis-1,2-dichloroethene, carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethene and tetrachloroethene were J-coded in sample -2 . The actual concentration of some or all analytes may have been higher than the reported result. The results for analytes that were not found at or above the reporting limits were UJ-coded in sample -2 to indicate that the reporting limits are estimated values. The actual reporting limits may be higher than the reported values.

Dilutions were necessary to protect the integrity of the instrument from high levels of cis-1,2-dichloroethene, trichloroethene and/or tetrachloroethene in samples -3 , -3FD, -4 and -5 for this analysis. This increased the reporting limits by a factor of 20 times for sample -3; by a factor of 40 times for sample -3FD; by a factor of 2 times for sample -4 ; and by a factor of 400 times for sample -5.

Low recoveries were reported for l , l -dichloroethene-d2 (control limits = 55% - 104%) in sample -3FD (53%); for 2-butanone-d5 (control limits = 49% - 155%) in sample -3FD (44%); for chloroform-d (control limits = 78% - 121%) in sample -3FD (63%) ; for 1,2-dichloroethane-d4 (control limits = 78% - 129%) in sample -3FD (69%); for benzene-d6 (control limits = 77% - 124%) in sample -3FD (59%); for l,2-dichloropropane-d6 (control limits = 79% - 124%) in sample -3FD (53%); for toluene-d8 (control limits = 77% -121%) in sample -3FD (57%) ; for trans-l,3-dichloropropene-d4 (control limits = 73% -121%) in sample -3FD (56%); for l , l ,2,2-tetrachloroethane-d2 (control limits = 73% -125%) in samples -1 (67%), -3 (69%) and -3FD (48%); and for l,2-dichlorobenzene-d4 (control limits = 80% - 121%) in sample -3FD (58%). dichloroethene, trans-l,2-dichlotoethene, 1,2-dichloropropane, cis-l,3-dichloropropene, trans-1,3-dichloropropene, ethyl benzene, isopropylbenzene, methyl acetate, methyl-tert-butyl ether, methylcydohexane, methylene chloride, styrene, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, toluene, 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane, trichlorofluoromethane, 1,1,2-trichlorotrifluoroethane, m/p-xylene and o-xylene were UJ-coded in sample -3FD. 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane and l,2-dibromo-3-chloropropane were UJ-coded in samples -1 and -3. These analytes were not found in the samples at or above the reporting limits; however, the reporting limits are an estimate (UJ-coded) due to low recoveries of the surrogate analytes. The actual reporting limits for these analytes may be higher than the reported values. cis-l,2-Dichloroethene, trichloroethene and tetrachloroethene were J-coded in sample -3FD. Although the analytes.in question have been positively identified in the sample, the quantitations are an estimate (J-coded) due to low recoveries of surrogate analytes in this sample. The actual concentrations for these analytes may be higher than the reported values.

Comments: Dilutions were necessary to protect the integrity of the instrument from high levels of tetrachloroethene in samples -118, -118FD and -131 for this analysis. This increased the reporting limits by a factor of 20 times for samples -118 and -118FD and by a factor of 10 times for sample -131.

Trichloroethene was J-coded in sample -102. Although the analyte in question has been positively identified in the sample, the quantitation is an estimate (J-coded) due to the reported value exceeding the calibrated range of the instrument.

Sample -136 was analyzed 4 days past the 14 day holding time. Trichloroethene and tetrachloroethene were J-coded in sample -136. The actual concentration of some or all analytes may have been higher than the reported result. The results for analytes that were not found at or above the reporting limits were UJ-coded in sample -131 to indicate that the reporting limits are estimated values. The actual reporting limits may be higher than the reported values.

The %D for chloroform was below control limits (-30.3% vs. ± 30%) on the opening CC of 5/20/11. Chloroform was UJ-coded in sample -136. This analyte was not found in the sample at or above the reporting limit; however, the reporting limit is an estimate (UJ-coded) due to the continuing calibration check not meeting accuracy specifications. The actual reporting limit for this analyte may be higher than the reported value.

The opening CC of 5/10/11 and the closing CC of 5/11/11 were not analyzed at the correct frequency (closing CC was analyzed 2 hours and 37 minutes past the 12 hour frequency l imit). The dilutions of samples -106, -129, -132 and -134 and sample -131 (lowest dilution reported - 1:10) were analyzed between these continuing calibration check samples. Results for all analytes in sample -131 were UJ-coded with the exception of tetrachloroethene. The results for analytes that were not found at or above the reporting limit were UJ-coded to indicate that the reporting limit is an estimated value. The results for cis-l,2-dichloroethene, trichloroethene and tetrachloroethene in samples -129, -132 and -134 and for tetrachloroethene in sarnples -106 and -131 were J-coded to indicate that the reporting limit is an estimated value.

    LOW recoveries were reported for l,2-dichloropropane-d6 (control limits = 79% - 124%) in samples -101 (73%), -104 (76%), -106 (77%), -111 (75%), -112 (78%), -118 (77%) -118FD (77%), -127 (76%), -129 (77%), -129FD (77%), -130 (78%), -131 (78%), -132 (77%), -134 (76%); and for trans-l,3-dichloropropene-d4 (control limits = 73% - 121%) in samples -101 (63%), -106 (71%), -108 (72%), -110 (69%), -111 (71%), -118 (72%), -133 (71%) and -134 (70%). Bromodichloromethane, cyclohexane, 1,2-dichloropropane and methylcydohexane were UJ-coded in samples - 1 0 1 , -104, -106, - 1 1 1 , -112, -118, -118FD, -127, -129, -129FD, -130, -131, -132 and -134. cis-l,3-Dichloropropene, trans-l,3-dichloropropene and 1,1,2-trichloroethane were UJ-coded in samples - 1 0 1 , -106, -108, -110, - 1 1 1 , -118, -133 and -134. These analytes were not found in the samples at or above the reporting l imits; however, the reporting limits are an estimate (UJ-coded) due to low recoveries of the surrogate analytes. The actual reporting limits for these analytes may be higher than the reported values.

A high recovery was reported for trichloroethene (control limits = 7 1 % - 120%) in samples -103MS (128%) and-103MSD (138%). Trichloroethene was J-coded in sample -103. Although the analyte in question has been positively identified in the sample, the quantitation is an estimate (J-coded) due to low recovery of this analyte in the laboratory matrix spike. The actual concentration for this analyte may be higher than the reported value.

Slight acetone contamination was found in the laboratory method blanks at levels below the CRQL. Only sarnples containing this analyte at levels greater than ten times the contamination level of the method blank are reported without being qualified. Acetone was U-coded in samples -114 and -135.
