KYOT BENEFITS TO UNDERWRITING

The benefits to underwriting are very similar to traditional advertising. There are some fundamental differences between the two, however. KYOT cannot make calls to action, discuss financial details, or compare businesses/products in its promotions. However, there is still plenty that can be gained from underwriting with KYOT. Because KYOT reaches not only the Vermillion community, but also surrounding counties, awareness of your brand/product/business is the obvious benefit. It is difficult to sell products if people don’t realize you exist, and KYOT would be extremely happy to assist you in that regard.

The underwriting agreement allows for a mutually beneficial arrangement because KYOT listeners are your target market and your support benefits the students in the station. We want to get you to your demographic(s). In fact, I hope every time your promotion airs on our station, 50 people run to your business. I cannot guarantee that would happen, but the potential is there. Your underwriting not only benefits your organization, but you are also providing support for the station and its operations.

I recognize the informality to this proposal, but I just want to point out how important this is to us. Thank you for your consideration, and I would be glad to discuss any questions/concerns you have.

Sincerely,Joshua Ryan Earl
