December 07, Christmas was celebrated in a grand manner at St. Thomas Institutions. Rev.Fr. Clement celebrated the Holy mass. The students of st. Thomas Primary School shared their happiness with the inmates of Lawrence Aged Home and offered new clothes to them and also some of our students from both the schools were given new clothes and gifts. Students’colorful cultural programme entertained all.

December 12, Canonical Visitation of the Provincial superior took place at St. Thomas Institutions on 12th December, 2018. On the first day we had a common assembly in which both the schools participated. Br. Provincial Visited all the classes and encouraged the students. He also insisted the teachers to be more active while teaching to transmit the knowledge in a conducive atmosphere. He met all the brothers individually and encouraged them to do their mission in a meaningful way.

December 19, Christmas was celebrated in our Sacred Heart Nursery and Primary School. Our Principal Mrs. Viagulamani Anitha welcomed the gathering, Mr.Isac Saravanan was the Chief Guest and delivered the Christmas message. The arrival of Santa Claus amidst the students and sharing of chocolates with them added color to the programme.

Srither, Mr. Savarimuthu and Mr. Leo Vins the old students of our school were the Guest of honour. To have a meaningful celebration Uniforms and gifts were given to the students. Correspondent Inaugurated the Function and explained the importance of Traditional Food. Mr. V.R. Muthu

Chief Executive Officer of Idhayam Oil was the Chief Guest and gave an Inspirational speech to the students.

The students prepared various traditional foods and arranged very well. Students from St. Mary’s

Matriculation and St. Joseph’s Primary school also participated in the food festival.

December 07, Our Provincial Superior made his Canonical visit to our community from 5th to 7th December 2018. Br. Arockiam and his team visited all the School functioning in our Institutions and evaluated the teaching learning process. Br. Provincial Superior addressed all the staff members and suggested the guidelines to make our teaching learning process more effective.

December 15, Thinking day was organized at St.Mary’s Hr.Sec.School, Vickramasingapuram. Fr. A. Thomas Alexander, SJ, Principal, St. Xavier’s College of Education, Palayamkottai illuminated the minds of the teachers with his thought provoking message. Teachers from Primary, Higher Secondary and Matriculation schools took part in this programme.

December 22, St. Mary’s Matriculation School celebrated Christmas function. Fr. Arulanandam Arulagam Parish Priest was the Chief guest who gave the Christmas Message. The Children entrained the gathering with their cultural programme.

December 19, St. Mary’s Hostel celebrated the Superior’s Feast. Br. James Elango, the Director of Hostel welcomed the Chief Guest and all the Brothers. The students performed colorful programs. Br. Jeyakumar organized all the events.

December 21, We celebrated the Christmas as PAKIRVU VILZA at St. Mary’s Hr.Sec.School. Poor parents and students were given Christmas Gift. Mr. Esakki Subiah (Ex.MLA), Vikasa School Principal Mr. Jawahar and Canara Bank Manager Mr. Usman decorated the stage with their august presence. Our Br. Provincial and correspondent presided over the function in the presence of Br.Headmaster. Many cultural programs were performed by the students. Cakes were distributed to the staff and students.

December 22, one day Retreat was organised for the

Vairavikulam Village people by the Brothers of the St. Michael’s Institutions, Singampatti. Bro. Arockiaraj from Arputha Yorthan Retreat Centre lead retreat in a meaningful way. A good number of people participated and benefited from it.

December 21, St. Michael’s High School and St. Michael’s Nursery and Primary School celebrated Christmas in a meaningful manner.

December 22, St. Michael’s Primary School and Home for Children celebrated Christmas function. The students gave a fun filled cultural events.

Our community Brothers along with a few well wishers extended their help to the students and the nearby village people on the eve of Christmas. The beneficiaries were around 50 students from High School, Primary Schools, and few village people from Singampatti and Vairavikulam.

It was a freezing moment where all the brothers from elder to younger actively participated and encouraged one another to rebuild the fraternal bond. 8. The Feast of Christ the King was celebrated in a grand manner. The feastorians were felicitated and honored with shawl. 9. The session titled “FIRE” was a remarkable one. Brothers were invited to understand the origin and growth of social work in our congregation. 10. The session on the life of our Pioneer Brothers inspired all the participants to understand their commitment and dedication behind the success stories of their time. 11. The Debate offered the opportunity to explore the past History over and above hopeful future. It was exciting and engaging. The passion and enthusiasm of the debaters caught hold the listeners excessively. 12. Overall it rekindled the fire within us. The Programme carried the brothers in to the depth of the sensational topic. Sometimes the participants moved with emotion other times they iced up with the past historical sentimental stories.
