Kollektivtilbud gjennom Atlanterhavstunnelen / Public transport through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel

Nasjonal sykkelrute 1/EuroVelo 1 har fått navnet Atlanterhavsruta. Den går langs kysten og over flere øyer mellom Kristiansund og Ålesund og gir en unik nærkontakt med havet og kystlandskapet. Ruta inneholder et hurtigbåt- og flere ferjesamband.

National Bicycle Route 1/EuroVelo 1 has been named “Atlanterhavsruta” – the Atlantic Ocean Route. It runs along the coast and across several islands between Kristiansund and Ålesund, and offers a unique close encounter with the sea and the coastal landscape. The route includes one speed boat and several ferry connections.

Kristiansundi 1Det er ikke tillatt å sykle gjennom Atlanterhavstunnelen, som er en lang og svært bratt undersjøisk tun-

nel. Det er to alternativer for syklister som skal igjennom tunnelen:

Taxi med sykkelstativ (inntil 3 sykler pr. taxi)Bestilling til Fram kundesenter på telefon 177 innenfor åpningstiden: Mandag-fredag: 08.00-21.00 Lørdag: 09.00-20.00 (seneste bestilling kl 18.00) Søndag: 10.00-21.00

Taxien må bestilles til et gitt tidspunkt. Maksimal ventetid er en time, men ved stor pågang kan ventetiden bli lengre. På Averøy blir syklister som har bestilt taxi hentet på bussholdeplassen ved Atlanterhavstunnelen. I Kristiansund blir syklister som har bestilt taxi hentet på bussholdeplassen i Hagelinvegen. Maks vekt pr. sykkel er 20 kg. Maks totalvekt for syklene er 45 kg.

Pris: Voksne 100 kr, barn 70 kr.

Rutebuss (2 sykler pr. avgang)Det er begrenset plass til sykler på vanlig rutebuss. Du er derfor ikke garantert plass.

Cycling is not permitted through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel, which is a long and very steep subsea tun-

nel. There are two alternatives for cyclists who want to go through the tunnel:

Taxi with a bicycle rack (up to 3 bikes per taxi)Book from Fram customer services on tel. 177 within their opening hours: Monday-Friday: 08.00-21.00 Saturday: 09.00-20.00 (latest reservation by 18.00) Sunday: 10.00-21.00

Taxis must be booked for a specific time. The maximum waiting time is one hour, except in cases of rush, when waiting times may be longer. On Averøy, cyclists who have booked a taxi will be picked up from the bus stop by the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel. In Kristiansund, cyclists who have booked a taxi will be picked up from the bus stop in Hagelinvegen. Maximum weight per bike is 20 kg. Maximum total weight of bikes is 45 kg.

Rates: Adults NOK 100, children NOK 70.

Regular service bus (2 bikes per bus)Space is limited on buses in regular service. There is thus no guarantee that there will be room for your bike.

Reise med hurtigbåt og ferjeFra Ålesund starter den nasjonale sykkelruta med hurtigbåt til Hamnsund i Haram kommune. Videre mot Molde er det flere ferjestrekninger.

Gjennom Atlanterhavstunnelen ved Kristiansund er det en transportordning med taxi, siden det ikke er tillatt å sykle gjennom tunnelen.

Traveling by speed boat and ferryFrom Ålesund, the National Bicycle Route starts by speed boat to Hamnsund in Haram municipality. Further on towards Molde there are several sections to be covered by ferry.

Through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel (Atlanterhavstunnelen) at Kristiansund, there is a taxi transport scheme in operation, since cycling is not permitted in the tunnel.
