Kranjska Gora, 19.-20.04.2004 3
17.03.2004
- installation started at 9:30 a.m. on Uacs 31 79 9321 054-9
- physical assembly finished until 1:00 p.m.
- Mr. Spengler started initialisation with Mr. Lissner from TD
- PI started the initialisation with EDC (M. De Vos)
- Result: Geo-coordinates were OK, loading sensor (V.2): arbitrary values
- Technicians shifted loading sensor housing 3 times, loosening screws,...; initialisation procedure has been repeated...
- End of the day (6:30 p.m.):
- OBT functioning well
- loading sensor (V.2) is bad

18.03.2004
- Notice from Mr. Spengler – the mounted loading sensor V.2 gave good results during the night!
- Workshop staff prepared a special tool to centre a loading sensor
- Setup of a worktable to test loading sensor functioning
- Finished installation on 21 79 2923 003-5 and 21 79 2923 010-0 until 2:00 p.m.
- Wagon equipment on 21 79 2923 010-0 successfully installed, initialised and calibrated (loading sensor V.1)
- Loading sensor (V.2) on 21 79 2923 003-5 doesn’t work – proved by Mr. Spengler
- Mr. Spengler takes both V.2 loading sensors (bad) back to TD
- Result: one finished wagon, two wagons without loading sensors

Further installations
- 25.03.04: receipt of the two tested spare loading sensors V.2 form TD
- Installation of the 2 left OBT packets:- 26.03.04: wagon 31 79 9321 022-6 (loading sensor V.1) initialised and calibrated
successfully- 31.03.04: wagon 31 79 9321 026-7 (loading sensor V.1) initialised and calibrated
successfully
- 06.04.04: replacement with the tested spare loading sensor V.2 on 31 79 9321 054-9. The same problems with loading sensor – not functioning
Kranjska Gora, 19.-20.04.2004 16
Current state of OBT installation
- 3 wagons (2 Uacs, 1 Himrrs) are complete – all loading sensors V.1
- 1 wagon (Uacs): physical assembly is finished – loading sensor doesn’t function (V.2)
- 1 wagon (Himrrs): physical installation is finished – only loading sensor holder – inoperable sensor in a warehouse (V.2)
- Conclusions:
- loading sensors V.2 don’t function well
- letter of claim for 2 new sensors has been sent to TD
- owing to bad loading sensors PI has incurred additional costs for installation personnel and travel to the installation site, SZ need to suspend the wagons from regular business run on the corridor
- PI paid to Logosystem 1st instalment – 887.40 EURO (27%)
