Krana/ A type of cranberries
• They are produced in Pindos.• Cranberries are a group of evergreen dwarf shrubs. The
fruit are the tastiest of the forest. • They are rich in iron (Fe), vitamin C (103 mg\/100 g),
Ascorbic acid (48-73 mg\/100 g (more than strawberries, oranges and Kiwi), carotene and tannins.
• They are used as a treatment of urinary tract infections, against diarrhea and intestinal disorders.
