What is KPLD Week? Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Awareness Week, or KPLD Week, is a week hosted by the KPLD Service Leadership Program Committee designed to raise awareness for Pediatric Lyme Disease through a number of challenges assigned to the individual days of the week. These challenges are intended for members of the New York District Kiwanis family to have fun while raising awareness of and money for the KPLD Foundation. The Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Foundation was founded in 2002 under Distinguished Past District Governor John Gridley to focus on two initiatives: assisting families with paying medical bills related to treatment for Pediatric Lyme Disease, and raising awareness of Pediatric Lyme Disease and its prevention. KPLD Week 2015 will be held from February 9 th to February 15 th , with the days signifying the following: To take part, join the Facebook event! Thanks for your support!
