ITINERARY AT A GLANCE Day 1 Overnight Flight

Days 2 – 5 Kensington Close Hotel & Spa, London

Day 6 York Hotel, York

Days 7, 8 King James Thistle Hotel, Edinburgh

Day 9 Ruthin Castle, Ruthin

Days 10, 11 Falcon Hotel, Stratford-Upon-Avon

On some dates alternate hotels may be used.

Experience It! Downton Abbey In the county of Hampshire, England stands the magnificent Highclere Castle – otherwise

known as Downton Abbey. The worldwide phenomenon (seen on PBS in the United

States) is filmed here; the show uses the exterior and interior of the castle as the setting

for the tragedies and triumphs of the Crawley family. In reality, the castle is home to the

Earl and Countess of Carnarvon and the 1,000-acre site has been in their family's name

since 1679. As you walk along the grounds in the same footsteps as Lord and Lady

Grantham, and see with your own eyes the rooms in which Matthew and Lady Mary

began their tumultuous love affair, you will truly feel as if you have stepped back through

time (or perhaps through your television).
