Adaptation Strategy: A farmer switches to water melon, pointed gourd (parwar) and bottle gourd (Lauka) farming in the flooded areas after 2008 Koshi Flood.

Local people selling varieties of fish from Koshi river, which is one of the livelihood options of people residing in the area. The area is also famous for Jute farming.
