In order to cooperate with ASEAN Countries,
Modelling of ODA collaboration, Designation of Partners and Implementation Program will be necessary
▪ Korea has world-class ICT infrastructure with excellent level of technologies in transport, energy, environment & water management.
▪ 338 out of 675 smart solution related companies in Korea expand their businesses globally.
▪ Insufficient international collaboration efforts limited to exporting part of local technologies and solutions
▪ Systematic approach is in need for state-sponsored project exploration, feasibility study and development
▪ A lack of portfolio for sustainable city development based on UN-SDGs

❖ KAIA would like to cooperate with WB on the followings;
• Forming Smart City Expert Groups for each domain and organizing a Policy-
Exchange Meeting to be held annually
• Conducting research to develop Joint Support Programs for developing countries
• Establishing a DB that contains urban development profiles for developing
countries and Korean Knowledge Sharing Platform
• Implementing Smart City Demonstration Programs for each service
domain(transport, energy, water management, etc.) and technology(data, fintech,
etc.)
• Jointly setting up Smart City Operating Centre for developing countries
• Operating Educational Programs for high-ranking government officials and
engineers for developing countries
