Komodo National Park includes three major islands: Komodo, Rinca and Padar, as well asnumerous smaller islands creating a total surface area (marine and land) of 1817km (proposedextensions would bring the total surface area up to 2,321km2). As well as being home to theKomodo dragon, the Park provides refuge for many other notable terrestrial species such as theorange-footed scrub fow l, an endemic rat, and the Timor deer. Moreover, the Park includes one ofthe richest marine environments including coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, seamounts,and semi-enclosed bays. These habitats harbor more than 1,000 species of fish, some 260species of reef-building coral, and 70 species of sponges. Dugong, sharks, manta rays, at least 14species of whales, dolphins, and sea turtles also make Komodo National Park their home.

Komodo National Park is located in the center of the Indonesian archipelago, between the islandsof Sumbawa and Flores. Established in 1980, initially the main purpose of the Park was toconserve the unique Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) and its habitat. However, over theyears, the goals for the Park have expanded to protecting its entire biodiversity, both terrestrialand marine. In 1986, the Park was declared a World Heritage Site and a Man and BiosphereReserve by UNESCO, both indications of the Park's biological importance.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01 : Bali - Labuan Bajo - Rinca We w ill pick you up from your hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport. Depart from Bali by domesticflight for Labuan Bajo located in of West Flores island. Upon your arrival you w ill be welcomed andmet by our local staff and direct transfer to Bajo harbour to catch a boat cross to Rincaisland. Lunch w ill be provided. We arrive at Rinca after boating about 2 hours proceeding w ithhiking to see the activities of komodo dragon for the whole afternoon. All meals provided andaccommodation on board.

Day 02 : Rinca - Komodo - Pink Beach - Labuan BajoWe are slow ly moving from Rinca to Komodo island, while enjoying sunrise and breakfast onboard, again we begin our trek and hike through the tropical dry forest to explore the Komododragon at Komodo island. While entering the park, please keep your look at any directions assometimes you w ill also find young komodo dragon hanging over the trees. A local ranger w ill leadyou during the trek. We return on board for relax and lunch before proceed to Pink Beach for abeautiful beach, spectacular snorkel site. In the afternoon return to Labuan Bajo. On your arrival,transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 : Labuan Bajo - Denpasar After breakfast, short city sightseeing to visit the old stone fossil at Mirror cave, local market w illbe made before transferred to the airport for your flight to Denpasar. On your arrival we w ill pickyou up and transfer to your original hotel in Bali.
