Oracle Subledger Accounting Release 12 Known Issues

This document provides information about known issues with Oracle Subledger Accounting in Release 12, and possible workarounds for those issues.

The information provided below applies to all Oracle Subledger Accounting customers who are installing, or upgrading to, Oracle Applications Release 12. Use this document with Oracle Applications Documentation Resources, Release 12.

This document may be updated frequently. Always check OracleMetaLink for the most current version of this Known Issues document (Note 456706.1) before you begin to install or upgrade your system.

Apply the following patches if you have already implemented Release 12.

Date Known Issue Resolution Fixed In

August 12, 2008 Customers who use Encumbrance and Budgetry Control might encounter duplicate or orphan events.

Apply patch 7242845. Fix available in patch 7242845.

June 23, 2008 Error 95313: Payments Cannot be Accounted. This impacts AP accounting in the secondary ledger.


June 19, 2008 R12: SLA Consolidated Patches as of May 19, 2008

This patch consolidates all SLA critical fixes released over Release 12 Base, 12.0.2, 12.0.3, 12.0.4, 12.0.5, and other issues after 12.0.5.

Fix available in patch 7113955.

June 8, 2008 ACCOUNTING_CLASS_CODE IN XLA_AE_LINES IS WRONG FOR AX UPGRADED ENTRIES


March 13, 2008 Unable to transfer AP Transactions to GL due to printer error.

This patch can be applied on top of the Release 12 Base through 12.0.4. This patch is included in the SLA Consolidated Patch 7113955 and Oracle Financials Family Release Update Pack 5 (RUP5).


It is not necessary to apply this patch if you have already applied patch 7113955.

March 10, 2008 Release 12 Subledger Accounting Consolidated Patch.

This patch consolidates critical SLA fixes. This patch can be applied on top of Release 12 Base, 12.0.2, 12.0.3, and 12.0.4. This patch is included in the SLA Consolidated Patch 7113955 and Oracle Financials Family Release Update Pack 5 (RUP5).



March 10, 2008 SLA journal entries are transferred to GL twice.

Apply patch 6694500. This patch is included in the SLA Consolidated Patch 7113955 and Oracle Financials Family Release Update Pack 5 (RUP5) R12.FIN_PF.A.DELTA.5.



Pre-Install Patches

Review and apply the applicable pre-install patches only if you are conducting a new Release 12 implementation or if you are upgrading to Release 12.


December 21, 2007 Subledger upgrade goes back to default date.

This patch is included in the Oracle Financials Family Release Update Pack 5 For 12.0 (R12.FIN_PF.A.DELTA.5).

December 7, 2007 Pushed duplicate events to SLA, which affects AX-AR users upgrading from 11i.

This patch can be applied on top of the Release 12 Base through 12.0.4. Fix available in patch

6625757.

October 18, 2007 Applying Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.0.2 patch 5484000 or Oracle Financials Release 12.0.2 patch 6000030 will delete your Oracle Subledger Accounting custom setup.

Apply patch 6355357 before applying Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.0.2 patch 5484000 or Oracle Financials Release 12.0.2 patch 6000030.


October 11, 2007 AX Upgrade skips the non-translated events in AR.

Only apply this patch if you are upgrading to 12.0.1 or 12.0.2. This patch is not required for those customers upgrading to 12.0.3 or 12.0.4


July 27, 2007 Ledger Upgrade not accounting for VM-Based Ledgers.

This patch is included in 12.0.4. Fix available in patch 5582560.

Release 12 Base and 12.0.1

Apply the following patches only if you are upgrading or installing 12.0.1 or an earlier version.


February 2, 2007 Addresses an issue of unique constraint violation on xla_ae_headers.

This patch is included in 12.0.2 and subsequent releases. Fix available in patch

5751363.

February 2, 2007 AADs are Invalid after NLS patch is applied. This patch is included in 12.0.2 and subsequent releases. Fix available in patch

5847744.

Important: In addition to patches identified above, there are some additional patches that have been flagged as having a high priority. While planning your installation/upgrade, go to OracleMetaLink and search for Release 12 patches marked as High Priority. Determine whether any of the issues returned in the search results are applicable to your installation and the set of products you plan to use. Merge the appropriate patches and apply them when your installation or upgrade is complete.
