With 3 years’ persistent efforts, the GCKE congress has successfully

attracted more than 1,000 world renowned speakers and

participants from more than 40 countries and areas around the

world as a leading international event for economy community. The

Scenery of Qingdao

Qingdao, located in the southeast part of

Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city

with clear air and enchanting sea view. This city,

bordered by the Yellow Sea on two sides, has the

largest bathing beach in Asia and produces the

mellow Tsingtao Beer. To the east of the city, a

short distance across the Yellow Sea, lie Korea

and Japan, making the city an important port for

international trade.

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the

city attracts many visitors with its charming

seascape. Sights like the Eight Passes Villas, Wusi

Square, he Zhan Bridge, Mt. Laoshan, No.1

Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area will help

you remember the city. Other major attractions

like Xinhao (Signal) Hill Park, Catholic Church (St.

Emil Church), Golden Sand Beach, Small

Qingdao Island, Lu Xun Park, and Underwater

World are also worth a visit. Just walking on the

sand and listening to the surf breaking on the

beach becomes enjoyable.

Previous Event Report

During November 10-12, 2016, BIT’s 3rd Annual

Global Congress of Knowledge Economy-2016

(GCKE-2016), with the theme of “Innovation, Green

and Sharing”, was successfully held in Shangri-La

Hotel, Qingdao, China. Many keynote speakers and a

lot of renowned speakers from many countries

attended this conference.

As the keynote speakers, Dr. Daniel Shechtman

Professor, Israeli Institute for Technology, Israel; Nobel

Prize Laureate in Chemistry, 2011; Dr. Gideon Maas,

Director, International Centre for Transformational

Entrepreneurship (ICTE), Coventry University, UK; Dr.

Stefano Micossi, Director General, Assonime, Italy; Dr.

Peter Mooslechner, Executive Director and Member of

the Governing Board, Oesterreichische Nationalbank,

Vienna, Austria; Dr. Lihui Tian, Acting Dean, Institute

of Finance & Development, Nankai University, China;

Dr. Joel Cherry, President, Research & Development,

Amyris, USA gave their wonderful speeches at keynote

forum and are warmly received.

There are 4 sessions of the conference following the

keynote forum. Nearly 200 world-renowned experts,

professors, laboratory principals, project leaders and

representatives of well-known enterprises attended the

GCKE-2016, together with other 3 parallel congresses,

over 300 outstanding international scientists in related

field attended the conference and showed their latest

progress.

Previous Event Report

The conference was a great scientific festival with

wonderful opportunities to learn about the Economy.

Meanwhile, it has promoted the communication of

colleagues and collaboration of partners in this field.

After the conference many participants expressed their

satisfaction with the content of the congress and had

fine memories of Qingdao. Depending on the warmly

support and good suggestions from all of the

participants, we are quite confident in organizing

GCKE-2017 which would be better and more

successful than GCKE-2016. All of us are looking

forward to meeting you again in 2017.

GCKE-2017 is a dedicated conference where you will

submitting oral presentation, poster or paper. We are

GCKE-2017, as one of BIT’s major congresses,

providing an extremely wide professional themes

gathering for leading scientists and economists

discuss current issues and innovations in the field

of economy and related disciplines, as well as

build strong network among us. Outstanding

keynote speakers and well known experts from

knowledge in this comprehensive economy

congress.

Now We Are Calling For

There will be an exhibition of posters at the

conference and the abstracts of accepted posters

will be published in the conference program. You

will be notified if your abstract has been

accepted for poster presentation as soon as it has

been reviewed by the organizing committee. All

accepted posters will be presented during the

Poster Viewing Session. Posters will be reviewed

for oral presentation 4-6 weeks prior to the

conference. Oral presenters will be notified by

email or telephone at least 3 weeks before the

conference. The selected presenters will be

posted on the agenda.

Materials to hang your poster will be available at

the poster area. The set-up time is TBA. You will

receive your poster number 4-6 weeks prior to

the conference. Your presence is recommended

during lunches and coffee breaks for discussion

with those who are interested in your research.
