Allah’s will by doing what is enjoined and refraining from that which has

been forbidden

Knowing Allah Who is Allah?

“Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

Allah: the Eternal, the Absolute;

He neither begets nor is born;

And there is none like unto Him.”

Quran, 112: 1 - 4


The Creator and The Creation How do Muslims know the creator?


The Creator and The Creation Through His Signs.

“Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night

and day - there are indeed Signs for men of understanding”

“And Allah has the most (beautiful) excellent Names (attributes), so call on Him by them” …

Who is Muhammad? He is the last Messenger sent

by Allah to guide mankind.

He is the descendent of Prophet Ibrahim(Abraham), peace and blessings be upon him.

Was chosen as the seal of the prophets at the age of 40.

Understanding the Message The attestation is not complete without the second

part:

Muhammadur-Rasulullah“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”

Next Step… The Beginners’ Course on Islam


Beginners’ Course on Islam

Intended as a follow-up to Knowing Islam, BCI covers the fundamentals of Islam based on our recommended text, ‘Essence of Islam’. It conducts a visit to the mosque where participants receive a demonstration of mosque etiquette.

Recommended pre-requisites: Students should have attended our Knowing Islam Session before coming for this class.

Topics included: The essence of Muslims belief system (the 6 Articles of

Faith); Life as a Muslim (understanding and observing the 5

Pillars of Islam; Understanding Ihsan and it's importance.


Beginners’ Course on Islam Express Covering the same contents as BCI within 2

weeks, this offers flexibility especially for visitors on a short stay in Singapore and for those who are unable to attend the regular BCI sessions.

Recommended pre-requisites: Students should have attended our Knowing Islam Session before coming for this class.


Solat (Prayer) Tutorial Course


ST1 provides a step-by-step guide on the practice of the obligatory prayers. Male and female will be grouped accordingly.

We highly recommend those who want to learn how to perform the five daily prayers where practical lessons on prayer are demonstrated and explained by tutors in small group.

Class will be conducted for 6 weeks.

Solat (Prayer) Tutorial Course, Express


STX covers the same syllabus as what is covered in ST1 but within a shorter period of time. Similar to the Beginners’ Course on Islam Express, this course is catered for students who are in Singapore for a short period of time (i.e. students, visitors with social entry visas, etc.)

Class will be conducted throughout 4 days within a week.
