What is Probation?

• Probation is for a designated period of time and may include restrictions or requirements, such as follow-up meetings with the SCA.

• During the term of the probation, students cannot work as an RA, Owl Team member, or other leadership positions

• In most cases, probation restricts a student from participating in study abroad programs during the length of probation

Mandatory Minimum Alcohol/Drug Sanctions

• First Offense– DAO Referral– Probation, 15-20 Weeks– $250.00 fine– Parental Notification(Under

21)

• Second Offense– DAO Referral– Probation– $700.00 fine– Parental Notification(Under 21)– Recommendation for Removal

from University Residence Hall

• Third Offense– Recommendation for removal

from Temple University
