It is time to sign up for 2018, call the clubThe whole list will be posted at the club. Captains please advise Dennis of your

menu by the 15th of the month before you are cooking.

A NEW CHALLENGEDan Carmany threw out a challenge that he would match the first 200 lbs donated.

That goal has been more than reached. So now let us challenge ourselves to

more than match the combined total of 400 pounds donated by coming up with

another 400 pounds in donations. If every member's family would contribute 5 pounds of food or toiletries here at the club we would more than reach this goal.

"JUST DO IT"

Please Pay Your DuesDues were due in January, have you paid yours? Thanks for Paying your dues, and

if you haven't paid please do so now.

Newsletter EditorWe are looking for someone to take over writing this newsletter. It is not difficult, starting help is available. Call Dennis at

ADVERTISERS Needed. An inexpensive way to support the council newsletter. Do you know someone with a business? Ask them. Call Dennis, 309-825-

2589 for details. We need to tell our advertisers that you saw their ad in our Newsletter, so they know their ad is noticed. Thanks

Council meeting Minutes are available at the club. If you contact us we can discuss availabilty. It would be great if you would

come to council meetings at least once in awhile. Call Tony at the club and leave your name and he will get back to you.

Tootsie Roll Final ReportThanks again to all that helped with the

Drive. WE had less K of C volunteers this year and it showed. We are down about 1000 dollars from last year and it was

because we didn't have the volunteers to man the store fronts. We finished with $9506.50. The Report to the State has been sent and we are still waiting on

requests from a few of the organizations. As soon as I think we have received all the

requests we will put together a donation list. And send our requests to the state for

them to make out the checks.
