THURSTON COUNTY FAIR
AUG. 1ST --- AUG, 5TH 2018
APPLICATION FOR VOLUNTEERS AT THE THURSTON COUNTY FAIR
HUMAN LIFE OF THURSTON COUNTY PROMOTES RESPECT
FOR LIFE FROM CONCEPTION TO A NATURAL DEATH.
EDUCATIONAL BOOTH
The first year you will be trained by one of our seasoned adult counselors. A counselor does one or two shifts at the fair. Each shift is of four hours duration and is staffed by one or two counselors and a trainee. The first shift is from 10AM to 2PM, the second shift is from 2PM to 6PM and third shift is from 6PM to 10PM. Fair passes are provided.
OUR FOOD BOOTH IS ANDY’S PIZZA AND DELI .
This is a very important activity. Much of the funding of our pro-life activities comes from the profits of this concession.
Besides being a fun and worthwhile activity, this is a good opportunity high school and college young people to volunteer and be exposed to private business. Many youth have used their work experience at Andy’s as a reference when applying for other employment or college. We limit three young
people to a shift. The first shift is from 7AM to 12:30PM and the second shift is from
12PM to 5:30PM and the third shift is from 5PM to 10:30. Fair passes are provided
and an onsite, lunch or dinner is furnished.
PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE FOR YOU/YOUR SON OR
DAUGHTER GRANDSONS/GRANDDAUGHTERS TO GAIN WORK EXPERIENCE
AND DO SO BY HELPING OUT AT OUR SAFE ENVIRONMENT FAIR BOOTHS!
