Don’t forget your food pantry donations! Fill the Barrel Sunday is today! Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat - If anyone is interested in helping with the craft sale at our fall event on Saturday, October 24th, there will be a meeting Monday, August 24th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. 5th Quarter Ministry Planning Meeting - Tuesday, August 25th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. This meeting is open to all those that would like to help with this youth ministry and the Knightdale High School youth. Fifth Sunday Sing - We will have a Fifth Sunday Sing on Sunday, August 30th at 6:00 PM followed by a dessert fellowship in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a dessert to share. Anyone interested in singing, please see either Dana Coleman or Cathy Maynard. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. “TUB OF LOVE” - Supporting the Operation Shoebox through October. For the next few months as you are shopping pick up an extra item and place in the “Tub of Love” containers throughout KBC. TOYS: Include items that children will immediately embrace such as dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, balls, toys that light up and make noise (with extra batteries), etc. SCHOOL SUPPLIES: pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, notebooks, paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc. NON-LIQUID HYGIENE ITEMS: toothbrushes, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc. ACCESSORIES: t-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses, hair clips, jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries), etc.

DO NOT INCLUDE: Used or damaged items, war-related items such as toy guns, knives or military figures, chocolate or food, out-of-date candy, liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers, and aerosol cans.
