How  your  company  will  benefit  from    Motorsports  Marketing

Motorsports marketing partnerships are one of the most cost effective ways of building

brand awareness. NASCAR is the #2 rated regular season televised sport. 89% of NASCAR fans believe, “When I see a NASCAR logo, on something, I know it will be a quality product.” While 72% agree that, “If a NASCAR logo is on something, I am much

more likely to buy it, as apposed to a similar product without it.”

Page 3: K&n series marketing proposal gsr

With NASCAR having the most loyal fans, they are three times as likely to try and purchase NASCAR marketing partners’ products and services. Most importantly marketing partners often see a return of $5 to $7 for every marketing dollar spent.

Motorsports marketing partnerships also deliver more

“bang for your buck” than other marketing opportunities. As of Fall 2012 the average cost for a 30 second national

commercial is over $165,000 per broadcast (not including production cost.) And while radio broadcast

commercials and print advertising are more cost effective, their reach and ability to reach your target

audience will have limited results.

A partnership with us will get your brand and products exposure the entire race weekend. The NASCAR audience will be introduced to your brand in many different ways

including:

• Tour of the Pit or Garage Areas: A guided tour for your VIP clients, contest

winners or your best customers, led by your team’s driver or other key members of the team, is an unforgettable experience.

• Television Exposure: Your customers will see your message during the race, rather

than during commercial breaks. This includes track signage, driver and crew apparel as well on the car during the race and any pre and post race interviews.

• Banners: At events. We will display banners with your company’s logo prominently in our pit area. You will get high visibility to an audience of your customers.

• Your Team: The race team will be suited with your logo not only at the event, but

also during the entire duration of each and every event.

• Cross  Marketing:  Opportunities  for  product  placement,  cross  marketing

promotions  and  capitalizing  on  existing  relationships  are  available.

• Trade  Shows:  How  do  you  get  your  exhibit  noticed  and  stand  out  from  the  competition?  A  full-‐fledged  racing  vehicle  and  the  driver  will  be  on  display  at  the  booth.

 • Sample  or  Coupon  Handouts:  We  will  hand  out  samples  of  your  products  in  your

target  markets  at  each  event.  Driver,  the  marketing  coordinator,  and  crew  will  be  on  hand  for  any  questions  fans  may  have  about  your  product.

 • Store  Openings/Sales  Events:  As  the  doors  open,  imagine  the  delight  of  customers

when  they  see  a  race  vehicle  and  talk  with  a  real  NASCAR  driver.  You  will  build  identity  association  with  glamour,  visibility,  and  a  winning  attitude.

 • Ride-‐A-‐Long  Program:  You  can  schedule  a  Pre  race  or  a  “Day  at  the  Track”  with  a

specially  configured  two-‐seater  West  Series  Car.  This  creates  a  unique  opportunity  to  promote  and  increase  sales.

Our  Team

In  1999,  Greg  started  Spectator  Racing,  which  allows  the  average  person,  who  has  no  racing  experience,  to  drive  a  full  size  race  car.  Our  slogan  “When  watching  just  isn’t  enough”  says  it  all.  He  owned  and  operated  Altamont  Motorsports  Park  in  2004  and  designed  and  started  the  mini  super  truck  division  shortly  thereafter.      Racing  was  a  hobby  to  Greg,  while  he  worked  as  a  full  time  correctional  officer  for  18  years.  He  retired  when  his  passion  for  racing  outweighed  his  paychecks.

Page 5: K&n series marketing proposal gsr

Greg  made  his  NASCAR  K&N  Pro  Series  West  debut  in  2008  at  hometown  track,  All  American  Speedway  in  Roseville,  CA.  In  2010,  he  finished  12th  in  point  standings  and  received  the  prestigious  “Nascar  Sportsman  of  the  Year”  Award.

Our  Driver

About  Todd  Bennett    Todd  began  his  racing  career  in  2006  driving  a  1941  Chevy  dwarf  car  in  the  Valley  of  the  Sun  at  such  esteemed  tracks  as  Canyon  Speedway  and  Manzanita  Speedway.  Todd’s  rookie  season  was  a  lot  of  hard  work  and  threw  him  a  large  learning  curve  driving  on  dirt  tracks,  but  he  was  up  for  the  challenge.  The  following  year  he  was  the  most  improved  driver  in  the  Desert  Dwarf  Car  Club.  Later  that  year,  he  won  the  Valley  Steel  Supply  Winter  Series  Championship.

2007  also  marked  Todd’s  first  attempt  at  asphalt  racing  in  Concord,  North  Carolina  in  a  Camping  World  Truck.  Bennett  again  excelled  and  was  accepted  into  a  driver  development  program  to  race  a  late  model  stock  car.  Unfortunately  for  Bennett  the  program  dissolved  before  he  could  take  advantage  of  his  hard  work.

In  2008  with  the  purchase  of  a  new  dwarf  car,  a  1943  Ford  truck  ~  Todd’s  true  talent  began  to  shine  through.  2008  marked  Bennett’s  best  track  times  and  multiple  heat  race  wins  and  finished  7th  in  points  for  the  season.

Page 6: K&n series marketing proposal gsr

Bennett  gains  education  off  the  track  by  reading  race  related  books  and  practicing  using  a  computer  simulator.  Todd  is  committed  to  his  racing  career  and  is  always  looking  for  an  opportunity  to  prove  himself.

Some  of  Todd’s  racing  highlights  include:

• 2011  –  Test  of  the  Best  Competition  Champion  • 2011    -‐  Finished  2nd  in  points  in  the  Competitive  Edge

Late  Model  Racing  Series  in  Post  Fall,  Idaho  • 2011    -‐  2  Wins  10  top  5s  in  the  Late  Model  series  • 2009  –  6  heat  race  wins  3  B  Main  wins  and  11  top  fives  • 2008  –  3  heat  wins  and  2  B  Main  wins

2007  –  Valley  Steel  Winter  Series  Champion
