The 40 minutes show about the Solar System started around 11:30am. Students had a great opportunity to learn more about planets, stars and other interesting astronomical facts. Students were also introduced to the prominent constellations, mythological stories associated with them, the planets and their motion around the Sun and the Earth. All this was viewed, using animations projected on the full dome shaped ceiling. The students were thrilled to know about the solar system.

The Joy of Hobbies

A hobby is an activity which is done regularly for enjoyment usually in free time. They are not done professionally or

for money. We enjoy doing these activities. People have hobbies because they are passionate about it.

Having a hobby is a wonderful thing. It improves the quality of life and makes our life more meaningful. Different peo-

ple will have different hobbies like painting, pottery, music, etc. People who are passionate about something are ex-

ceptionally good at it. Passionate people are always happy. Therefore following a hobby will enhance the quality of

life and also happiness.

Researches have shown that enjoyable activities performed during leisure time are associated with better health and

stress free life.

Since hobby generally brings in pleasure and positivity into ones life, it makes the life of people more meaningful.

I have a box of crayons

I have a box of crayons,

All shiny, straight and new.

I lend a friend one crayon,

And — oops — it breaks into two.

My friend then says she is sorry,

But I say, “I don't care,

Now we both can colour,

With one crayon — We can Share!”
