Our storyThe ASKO story is a good one. It started back in 1950 in Vara, Sweden, with an innovative young man’s dream to build a washing machine for his mother to suit her every need. A unique, energy and water efficient machine that would reflect a farmer’s love for nature. One with superior cleaning performance and reliability that could heat water, spin and even boast durable, state-of-the-art stainless steel drums. A washing machine that would surpass even his meticulous mother’s high standards. So he built a world-class facility right on the family farm – where it still stands today – and ASKO was born.

ASKO in 2011 still lives up to its unique roots, being Swedish to us means we care for the environment and we care about how well our products perform. Rather than produce kitchen and laundry appliances with fancy features that you may never use. We maintain a close association with our Swedish heritage, that is to produce class leading products that offer value for money and performance to match. PyrolytiC CleaningOvens that can clean themselves? Yes ASKO has a system which heats up to 500°C which will render using harsh cleaning agents as a thing of the past. All you do is wipe away any residual (not on OT8620).

PreCise CookingOur Pyrolytic ovens have Quadruple glaz-ing to keep the heat in the oven where it belongs. Match this with our temperature sensor which maintains the precise tem-perature throughout the duration of your cooking. This will enable you to not only cook well but save on valuable energy. All our 60 cm conventional ovens feature an A in Energy (European Standards).

easy to use The OP8651 features 3 different cooking modes:

auto Cooking - where you simply select the item you wish to cook and the oven determines when it will be ready. This is done through a series of humidity sensors which measure the moisture in the oven.

Coach Cooking: Could be defined as a Semi Auto program select the food group and input the weight and the oven will cook it for you.

individual: For those who wish to experi-ence being in complete control, simply select one of the individual programs and manipulate the end cooking time yourself.

designNot all customers like the same design so we have come up with 3 unique looking control panels to suit all tastes. From a completely flat Touch control panel, which is so easy to use to a conventional dial operation for those who prefer a more traditional approach. Either way you will get a design which is timeless and simple to use.

COOKTOPSThe aim for simplicity in the new range of ASKO cooktops has resulted in a stylish design and remarkable functionality. The range includes induction, gas and ceramic cooktops to make sure we can cater for you needs, whatever they might be.

gasASKO’s gas cooktops feature one piece directional burners with automatic ignition as well as removable knobs and smooth cast iron trivets for easy cleaning. They also offer circular gas flame holes for curved flames to minimise gas usage and ensure a precise cooking result. If the gas supply is interrupted, our cooktops feature an Auto Cut function. They also feature child proof controls, which means that you have to turn the knob and hold it down for a couple of seconds for it to ignite.

induCtionAn ASKO induction cooktop provides the same flexibility and fast heat regulation as a gas hob, with less hassle. Food spills are easy to wipe off after cooking and best of all : an induction cooktop is also quicker and more efficient than any other type of cook top.

Our induction cook tops have Auto pot sens-ing technology. The zone will adjust its heat transference, by sensing the exact diamatre of the pot placed on the zone. Matched with a flexible 12 step temperature control who could ask for more.

CeramiCOur ceramic cooktops have fast heat up and 4 halogen adjustable cooking zones. touCh ControlsThe fully electronic touch controls on our canopy rangehoods make for a flat surface that is easy to wipe clean and easy to use. With the touch of your fingertip the large display will illuminate highlighting all the cho-sen settings, like when it’s time to wash the filters or what setting you are using. There’s even a clock!

The controls are front mounted for easy access and the LCD display features adjust-able brightness for personalised visibility.

Boost funCtionThe boost function should be used when you wish to extract a maximum amount of food smells or fumes for a short period of time, when frying fish for example. Set the boost function and the extraction will increase for 2-minutes after which it returns to speed setting 3.

PerformanCeAll our rangehoods whether they are canopy or slide out will extract 650m3h of air. This is also combined with a clever drip tray for grease col-lection in our canopy models.

ASKO’s slide out models feature 4 flexible speed settings with front mounted controls for ease of use and cleaning, combined with our insulated silent motors they make a compelling argument for choosing an ASKO.

The ultimate dishwasherFor us it’s a matter of pride to develop smart solutions and only use high-quality materials when producing our appliances. Some of our solutions could seem quite simple, like the fact we’re using steel instead of plastic wherever possible, but the durability and performance of our products will prove that sometimes the simplest solution is the smartest.

Build qualityAs per our byline ‘built to last longer’, the focus on durability has been with us since the start of the company in 1950. And what better way to make sure that we live up to our standards than life-cycle tests and a rigourous test before every dishwasher leaves our factory.

No other dishwasher has so many com-ponents made in steel instead of plastic. Because we all know that steel has a longer lifespan than plastic when mixed with high temperatures and corrosive detergent.

PerformanCeAn ASKO dishwasher saves water. It uses as little as 13.9 litres of water on a normal wash. And thanks to our basket design and water distribution system,

there is no need to rinse the dishes before loading them, which means even less water wastage. All ASKO’s dishwashers have a 4 star WELS water rating and a 3.5 star energy rating. The flexibility of our baskets enables you to clean various sized dishes, oven trays etc in your dishwasher where up to 10 spray zones make sure they are perfectly clean and our Turbo fan drying system takes care of the drying.

the world’s most flex-iBle BasketsThe XXL dishwasher features a new four level basket system with height ad-justable and removable baskets to offer you complete flexibility.

The new design allows you to wash those big pots and oven dishes you can’t fit in a normal dishwasher. For your delicate wine glasses, small bowls or kitchen utensils we suggest you use our supportive racks. And to protect your glassware and china, there is knife basket for knives and other sharp items.

The XXL dishwasher will fit your dishes no matter what size or material. Less cleaning up means more time for fun (D5893 has 4 levels).

water safetyComing home to water leaking in the kitchen is an experience we can do without. That’s why our dishwash-ers have an all-welded steel casing to prevent external leakage and sensors to avoid internal leakage. To save you from unnecessary service costs, the Anti-Block drain pump is easy to clean and all internal water pipes are made of durable stainless steel. But there’s more; we use a pex water hose designed to last for a minimum of 25 years.

WASHERSOur new range of ASKO washing machines are extremely easy to use. The control panel displays what the machine is doing, and program selections can be made by one simple turn of the control knob.

A washer unlike any otherASKO’s washers are the only ones on the market not to have any rubber seal. This means less cleaning, no residual detergents and maybe more importantly, no more leaking.

With our SmartSeal™ solution the door seals directly to the stainless steel drum which makes loading and unloading much easier and much more hygienic. Why would you want to drag your clean clothes through a dirty rubber seal?

Sometimes less really is more.

quattroIf you are after a long-lasting washing machine, there is really only one option – ASKO.

Our unique approach to construction and build quality is demonstrated by our use of steel. The Quattro construction is built entirely out of steel and from the bottom up, which minimises the strain on the ma-chine. The inner bowls rests on four spring legs and use cast iron counter weights for stability. This means that the internal part of the machine is completely independent from the outside body. Combined with a balance control system that automatically re-distributes the load, we have made sure to minimise vibration.

funCtionalityEase of use is one of the key objectives our designers always bring with them to the drawing board. At ASKO we believe that function and form are equally impor-tant. Take our new range of washers for example, where all programs automatically select load size and adjust the water- and energy usage and even the length of the wash cycle accordingly. At least that’s what we told our designers. Our range of programs allows you to wash all kinds of garments, from heavily soiled overalls to the most delicate satin night gown. And if you are in a hurry, why not use our time program where you can pre-program your ASKO washer to start, or stop, when you want it to.

The flange around all holes, in combination with an area with reduced hole diameter in the center of the drum, provide optimal gentleness for your laundry. The larger cylinder holes on each side of the drum effectively processes the laundry and also evacuate dirt and gravel from the machine.

The hourglass-shaped lifters guide large “items” such as dirt and gravel to the large evacuation holes in the lifter edges.

The dirt/gravel is lead out from the cylinder through the lifters together with the water flow into the drain. This means you don’t have to remove any dirt or gravel from the drum yourself.

The angle of the drum edges in combination with the hourglass-shaped lifters, allow your laundry to move to the centre. This gives less wear on delicate items and better balance in the drum.

Built to make your clothes last longerWe spend a lot of money every year on clothes, and washing them correctly helps maintain their shape, colour and good looks. Our newly developed Active Drum™ with caring lifters has an optimal design for taking the best possible care of your laundry. The larger drum allows you to wash larger loads than ever before - 7 kg. But thanks to the smart sensor-controlled Auto system the washer also adjusts the water consumption and the main wash time depending on load and chosen temperature. This is convenient and saves both water and energy when washing smaller loads.

active drum™Our unique new drum construction means optimum care and maximum gentleness for your laundry. The angle of the drum edges and the design of the drum, in combination with the hourglass-shaped lifters, allow your laundry to move to the centre. This along with smaller cylinder holes in the middle gives less wear on delicate items and better balance in the drum even at higher spin speeds. The hourglass-shaped lifters also guide larger “objects” such as gravel to the bigger evacuation holes in the lifter edges, which effectively remove dirt from the machine.

oPens all the way Thanks to ASKO’s unique construction without rubber bellows, we can use a door with only a shallow bowl shape, rather than a conventional deep one. Therefore the door takes up less space.All our machines have a large door ope-ning (307 mm). This, along with a very easily accessible drum, makes it easier to load and unload the machine.

7 kg CaPaCityOur new drum has a volume of 60 litres, enabling a wash load of up to 7 kg. The higher capacity means fewer wash loads. The larger drum space also ensures less wrinkles and tangling of clothes, giving you optimum wash performance.

flexiBilityMaybe a drying cabinet isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you talk about appli-ances that makes your life easier. But we think it should. Our drying cabinets have a flexible interior that makes them easy to adjust for all kinds of garments. All three racks can be com-pletely folded down if you, for example, wish to hang a large coat up for drying after a rainy day. Or you can pull them out when handling your laundry for better reach and optimum capacity usage.
