Task Analysis1. First, you need to have access to the internet.2. Next, go to the following website: www.thelearningodyssey.com3. Log into your account, being sure type in your username, password, and school name.4. Once you are logged in, click on the Assessment tab at the top of the page; then click on Test Builder. (This allows you to create an assessment for your assigned group of students.5. You must then select a standard set, subject, and grade level in order to proceed.6. Click the next button. 7. Now select the Common Core objectives you wish to test students on in Language Arts. Choose the Key Ideas and Details objectives. Then click the next button. 8. You will now review the objectives and the items. Then click the next button. 9. Once you are on the properties screen, you will create a name for your assessment, send a message to your students (optional), and review the properties as follows: draft mode check (no), multiples sessions and allow early turn in check (yes), navigation allowed check (yes), randomize items check (no), mastery score should be at least a 70, minute allowed should be 0 for unlimited time, and build learning path should check (yes). 10. IntroductionHello, and welcome to this video tutorial on how to create an assessment via the digital learning program- Compass Learning.

1Gain Access to the internet.The first step is to access internet using a web browser of your preference. It is recommended to use Google Chrome for this particular program, but any web browser will suffice.

2Go to website. Once your browser has appeared, go to the following website: www.thelearningodyssey.com

3Begin logging into account. You need to log into your account that has been given to you by typing in your username, password, and school name.

4From the home screen, click on the Assessment tab. Then click on Test Builder.Once you are logged in, from the home screen click on the Assessment tab at the top of the page; then click on Test Builder. (This allows you to create an assessment for your assigned group of students.

5Select a standard set, subject, and grade level for the assessment. Then select add to existing objectives. You must then select a standard set, subject, and grade level in order to proceed. I am going to select Common Core for standard set, Language Arts for subject, and level 3 for grade level and then select add to existing objectives for objective additions.

6Click the next button. Click the next button.

7Select the objectives you wish to test students on. Click on Key Ideas and Details and be sure that all three boxes under the objective are selected. Then click the next button.
