GET READY for a celebration of family, fun, food and diversity!

What’s New

Location: This year’s Kipona Festival will take place on City Island and Riverfront.

Transportation: Bus service will be available to and from City Island. In addition,

FREE bike taxi services will transport guests across the Market Street Walking Bridge.

Events: New events such as the Diva’s Concert, Kid’s Port and Imagination Station, Splash Community Mural, Spoken Word Festival and Native American Pow Wow

What Stay’s

Events: Chili Cook Off, Canoe Races, Festival of India, Riverfront Food Vendors and Fireworks!

Road Closures: Front Street will be closed from Locust Street to Walnut Street on Saturday and Monday. Front Street will be closed from Forester Street to Walnut Street on Sunday for Fireworks.

Parking: Street parking will be available at NO COST on Sunday and Monday. Parking is also available on City Island during the entire festival.
