FASTER AND CHEAPER THAN THE COMPETITION

CUTTERThe inline trimmer uses two cir-cular knives to trim the edges of prints with an accuracy of 1 mm. The trimmings are collected in the bag integrated under the trimmer.

STACKERThe high-capacity stacker allows stacking more than two hours of production without intervention.

FOR PERFECT COLOUR RENDERING

EASY MEDIA for the KIP Color 80 integrates colour management, colour calibration and a profi l-ing solution. This option allows creating ICC profi les for monitors, printers and scanners to guar-antee colour consistency across the whole graphical chain.

The RIP KIP Color 80 CALDERA offers very accurate colour management by determining pa-rameters according to the image (vector, RGB or CMYK). Profi les embedded in fi les (e.g. PDF) are automatically detected, extracted and applied. This RIP also provides spot colour support through the CXF library as well as automatic detection of named/spot colours with full simulation of output colour based on output profi les.

The combination of the CALDERA GrandRip+ with KIP Color 80 provides a fast, fl exible and powerful workfl ow solution dedicated to wide format print and print-to-cut applications.

Equipped with GrandRip+, the KIP Color 80 allows controlling all existing wide format solutions in a company. GrandRip+ uses a client server architecture running on a Linux PC to manage an infi nite number of printing slave PCs/RIPs, creating a distributed architecture in order to obtain more processing power.
