VIRGINIA BAPTISTS
Advancing the Kingdom together
Vinton Baptist Church Celebrates Share Your HeART SundayFor Valentine’s Day, Vinton Baptist Church, of the Roanoke Valley Association, decided to give members the opportunity to share their gifts from the heart—the creative gifts God has given them—with the entire church family.
“So many in our congregation have the gift of creativity, but rarely do we get to see each other’s creations,” said Rev. Brittany Riddle, Minister to Adults.
The church will display the art in the sanctuary and foyer for a few weeks. They had a great response from all ages in the congregation—over 50 pieces to share—everything from paintings, knitted coats and blankets, handmade birdhouses and fishing flies, pottery, pencil sketches, mosaics, books, ceramics, and more.
“We look forward to seeing the giftedness of our congregation members and celebrating their God-given creativity,” said Riddle.
