Last week I had a wonderful family trip. You will be surprised that we didn't go to the

beach or to the circus. Instead my dad took us to my uncle’s farm.

The drive took a long time because the traffic was heavy and there were lots of large

trucks on the main roads. We finally arrived at the farm and we didn’t see any camels or

any accidents, which was good.

The farm has a big swimming pool. I swam and then I played tennis. I wanted to feed

the animals but my sister did that. Before we left, my cousin and I played football and

my mum took photos for hundreds of colourful butterflies, which my family liked best.

I want to invite you to my uncle’s farm during spring break. We will ride the horses to the

village and see my friends.

we were getting ready it became cloudy and then it started to rain. So, we had to change

our plan. My Mum suggested going to the mall or camping with Uncle Sam, but Dad

wanted to visit Grandma in the country, and we all thought it was a great idea.

When we arrived there in the afternoon, Grandma was feeding the chickens. My Mum

wanted to help Grandma but she was scared of the chickens so she washed the dishes,

and Dad cleaned the house.

The place is great. There are lots of nice animals such as chicken, dogs and cows. And

guess what? Grandma gave me a small brown dog. I called it Lacy. I was very happy to

have a pet.

In the evening we all helped in cooking dinner. Mum cooked the fish Dad caught from the

lake, and I helped in making the salad. It was a great day.
