KING’S COLLEGE ACHIEVEMENT PLUS FALL 2016 PRESIDENT’S DINNER HONOREES This annual dinner celebrates the accomplishments of King’s College seniors. The 2015-16 year there were 10 students chosen for this special honor. Two of these individuals were part of the Achievement Plus Program. Daniel Hernandez Double major in Accounting & Finance. He came to the United States at age 12 from Colombia, speaking no English. During his college years he was a standout on the soccer field earning the all Regional Award and the Scholar Award for Academics & Soccer. He volunteered as a translator for the Adult ESL program at King’s and was an RA for 3 years. Sasha Lopez Double major in Psychology & Sociology. She was challenged financially and experienced homelessness briefly. She quickly became involved with the Shoval Center SERVE trips. Upon graduation she will serve one year as an intern for “My Brother’s Keeper” in Massachusetts. Sasha was captain of the King’s Dance Team and worked for the Alumni Office. She was one of two seniors chosen to speak at the dinner. Both are members of the Achievement Plus Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society. SssssSSSSociety.SSociety. COMMISSIONING SERVICE 2 ND LT. DYLAN PRESCOTT Ordinance Corps Dylan Prescott Criminal Justice major who graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was on the Dean’s List all 8 semesters of his college career. Dylan also received an ROTC scholarship to help with college tuition. He is a member of the Achievement Plus Chi Alpha Epsilon Honor Society. Following graduation Dylan was sent for training in Bomb Disposal with the US Army. His older sister Tiffany received her MS in Health Care Administration this year and his younger sister is a junior HRM major at King’s.

KING’S COLLEGE ACHIEVEMENT PLUS FALL 2016

PRESIDENT’S DINNER HONOREES

This annual dinner celebrates the accomplishments of King’s College seniors. The 2015-16 year there were 10 students chosen for this special honor. Two of these individuals were part of the Achievement Plus Program. Daniel Hernandez – Double major in Accounting & Finance. He came to the United States at age 12 from Colombia, speaking no English.
