KING EDWARD’S SCHOOL

King Edward’s School was founded by Royal Charter in 1552. We are proud of our history and tradition as the City’s grammar school and as Bath’s only independent school exclusively for day pupils, providing co-education for pupils aged 3–18 across the Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior Schools.

• Clubs will all start at 12.35 or will be specifically timed around the scheduled lunch of pupils involvedandwillfinishby1.30 inorder toallowpupils into “clubs lunch”.

• AnypupilattendingalunchtimeactivityshouldattendlunchAFTERtheirclub.• Activities must end in time to get pupils through lunch at the end in time for

registration• Thereistobeno“pickingup”ofasandwichtotakeawayfromthedininghalltoeat

ataclub,andpackedlunchesdonottake“priority”;pupilsmustattendattheirtimeslot with their year group and all queue together.

• TheDiningHallisthe only venue where pupils may eat lunch, unless permission has been granted for packed lunches to be eaten on the meadow. Sandwich lunches and items purchased from the tuck shop must never be eaten in classrooms.
