Participants: 57 patients wereevaluated mostly between 41 and 60 years old. Interventions: This isa case-control study which included all patients admitted to departments ofinternal medicine, surgery, and orthopedics of the HGR 1 Yucatan duringJanuary 2013. In all these patients the Braden scale was applied and it wasdetermined those who presented clinically with pressure ulcers. The selectedcases were those patients who had pressure sores and the control were allthe patients who had not. The presence of pressure ulcers and its degreewere determined by classication designed by the National Pressure UlcerPanel and the Agency for Health Research and Quality. The statisticalanalysis was based on the x2 test with a 95% signicance level (p

Patients walked on overground level at self-selected speed and in the treadmill at 0.33 m/s. In addition four weight-bearing conditions were tested: without harness, with harness, with 15%BWS, and 30% BWS. Three trials for each condition were videotaped in thesagittal plane recording the paretic and non-paretic leg and digitized usingthe Ariel performance analysis system (APAS). Spatio-temporal parametersand joint angles were measured. Results: Gait overground with 15% BWSshows statistical difference (p
