DECEMBER CALENDAR Attached to this newsletter is the classroom December calendar. Please note that the School’s Advent Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 9th, and the Community Breakfast will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 7:30am. This year’s Christmas Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 15th at 9:30am. Please join us to help celebrate the Christmas Season. SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS Scholastic orders are due on Monday, December 7th to ensure the orders arrive before the holidays. Please send exact change only, a cheque made payable to Scholastic Canada Inc, or pay online. DRESSING FOR THE COLD WEATHER As the cold weather approaches, it is important that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Please ensure that hats, mittens, scarves and boots are labelled with your child’s name in order to ensure that these items are not lost. Also, as there is a lot more to wear at this time of year, it is important that your child know the proper order to put on winter clothes. We will be discussing this in class, and I will be providing the students visual cues to follow, that can also be used at home. These are:

1st: snow pants 2nd: boots 3rd: coat 4th: Hat Last: Mittens If your child cannot manipulate gloves independently, please send them in mittens so they can be more successful in dressing themselves independently.
