TERRIFIC TUESDAY Sight Word: want
Lesson: Practice reading and writing using the sight
word “want”.
Activity: In your journal, draw 3-4 things that you
“want”. Then write a sentence about each picture.
Examples: I want to go to the beach. I want to swim. I
want to go to school. I want to play with my friends. I
want pizza.
Reminders: Use a capital letter at the beginning of
your sentence. Write nicely. Put a finger space
between each word. Put a period at the end of each
sentence.
