Ed Kilbourne will be with us to lead in worship at 9 AM and 11AM. He will have a concert here later that day at 4 PM. Monday through Wednesday he will be leading a “Adult Vacation Bible School” from 9:30 AM to 12 PM in the Fields Center. Ed will use his music and storytelling to help us see the Gospel in new ways! All adults are invited, and are asked to register by contacting Andi Sauls at [email protected] or calling her at (843)-662-1233. (By the way, Ed has been talking about retiring, so this may be the last chance we have to be with him in worship. You don’t want to miss this!)

Adult Vacation Bible School August 4-7!

Ed Kilbourne will be with us to lead in worship at

9 AM and 11AM. He will have a concert here later

that day at 4 PM. Monday through Wednesday he

HPK will be gearing up for our

50th new and exciting year on

September 3, 2019. We will be

having a HUGE Celebration in

the Fall. Please let Beth Prosser

know if you, your child, your

sibling...any family member or

friend attended HPK or if you

were a teacher, substitute or

even director!! We want to

invite everyone to join us. More

details to follow soon.

HPK and ASC

We have a Women’s group that

you may be interested in.

There are lots of activities that

these women are doing. Book

clubs, Bible studies and even

secret sister. There are many

events throughout the year. If

you are interested in getting

involved with the women’s

group contact Beth Behling at

We have a Men’s group that

you may be interested in.

There are lots of activities that

these men are doing. United

Methodist Men meet once a

month for fellowship and good

food. If you are interested in

getting involved with the men’s

UMM UMW

Sun- day,

ASC continues to be an

outreach ministry to our

children. As we enter this year on

August 19th we

welcome 90 children from six area

schools. More than half of our stu-

dents have been at HP for over

three years! What an amazing

compliment to our church. We will

continue to help with homework,

go to various field trips, attend

weekly chapel with Pastor Mike

and Miss Amanda and enjoy deli-

cious snacks each day! Thank you

for your continued support of this

great ministry.

We are wrapping up our

11th year of Summer

Camp with a HUGE

BANG!!!! Many fun field

trips, lots of creative

crafts, several hundred

sno cones and lots of

water fun with 100

children! Thank you for

your continued prayers

of this fabulous

program.

August Kidz Quest: YMCA Pool

Party!

Join us for a Pool Party on Sunday,

August 25th from 6-8 p.m.

We will meet at the pool! Make

sure to bring sunscreen and a

towel. We will have a pizza dinner

and drinks. All are invited! Prizes

for kids who bring friends! 3k and

4k welcome with an adult.

All kids who are dropped off must

have a permission waiver on file to

stay. Please contact Ms. Amanda if

you need one!
