Addition You will need:
• Counters
• 2 plates
• 1-6 die (dice) Roll the dot dice and see if you can say the number on the dot dice without having to count from 1 Take that total number of counters and place on a plate. Next, roll the dot dice again and take that number of counters and place on the other plate. Can you join your 2 groups together and find the total of counters altogether?

• Blank ten frame
• 10 counters Roll your dot dice twice and add the 2 numbers together then place the total on the ten frame. Challenge: Dots and TENS Gane: You will need:
• 1 number dice
• Ten frame
• 10 counters. Roll dice, place that number of counters on frame. Can you say how many more counters needed to make 10?
