Keys to Success:• We are looking to begin building a seven year partnership with you and your children.

• The most important factor at this stage in development is the willingness to learn and the ability to interact in a group rather

than academic skills. – Letting adults be in charge.– The meaning of “no” – reacting appropriately.– Doing things that we may not want to do - tantrums do not work .– Actions have consequences.

• We teach and practice these life skills with students daily, but your help is vital to their growth in kindergarten and beyond.

Well rested children do very well academically and behaviorally.

o 10 – 12 hours of sleep is recommended.o More exercise and limited access to TV, video and computers

before bed helps students sleep better at night.
