Read to your  favorite stuffed  animal for 10-15  minutes

Extra Sight Word Practice Ideas

1.Make an extra set of cards and play memory.

2.Go on a sight word scavenger hunt by hiding the flashcards throughout the house.

3. Create a sight word puzzle on puzzlemaker.com.

4. Build sight words with magnetic letters, beads, or play-dough.

5. Write sight words in shaving cream… fun & safe all while learning!

6. Play tic-tac-toe using sight words instead of “x” and “o.”

7. Write sight words on handprints and have children high-five the handprints and say the words before entering a common room in your home (front door, kitchen, living room).

8. Make sight words the “password” to get on tablets, laptops, or before watching TV.
