CONVENTION BREAK ITEMS

SELF CATERED EVENTS/FUNCTIONSARE AVAILABLE IN THE TRICKLECREEK LODGE ONLY:

Trickle Creek Lodge is the only venue on Kimberley Alpine Resort that will allow self-catered events. This includes outside catering and non- alcoholic beverages only.NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED in our hotel meeting/banquet room. If any group requires additional supplies from the hotel, a supply fee (based on groups requirements) will be added to the final invoice. If the group decides to provide their own catering they should provide their own supplies as well. Supply examples: plates, silverware, napkins, serving dishes, utensils, etc...

**PLEASE NOTE: The hotel is able to arrange supplies and/or a bar service if required. All inquires must be made directly with the Group Sales department.

If the group requires the hotel to go“off” resort to order or pick up catering and/orsupplies, this is considered “off-site” catering services and these charges

are subject to a minimum 18% service fee.

SOCAN Music Agreement

Please note the following if booking a banquet and supplying own entertainment.

SOCAN (Society of Composers Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) requires that the users ofmusic obtain a SOCAN license to perform, or authorize others to perform, copyright music in public.To ensure that the appropriate license is, in fact, in place, the policy of the KIMBERLEY ALPINERESORT is to collect and remit the required license fee to SOCAN. The fee for an event:

Rm Capacity 1-100 With Dancing is $44.13, Without Dancing $22.06

Rm Capacity 101 – 300 With Dancing is $63.49 Without Dancing is $31.72

Rm Capacity 301 – 500 With Dancing is $132.39 Without Dancing is $66.19

Please note that the use of copyright music without a valid SOCAN license may lead to a legal actionfor copyright infringement under the Copyright Act of Canada.

Catering Terms and Conditions

1. Confirmation of event is required 6 months in advance; a minimum $500 Non-Refundable depositis required to confirmation the event venue. Final attendance numbers are required 14 days in advance of your function; final attendance numbers may not be decreased. Billing for the group will be based on the guaranteed number or actual number, whichever is greater.

2. Children 6-12 years -- 30% discount, Children 5 & Under Complimentary.

3. Fourteen days notice is required to completely cancel any catering, otherwise a charge representing 75% of the estimated value will be applied. Cancellation of an event less than 14 days will be charged 100% of the estimated food service.

4. All Food and Beverage pricing is subject to any taxes that are applicable: 5% GST, 10% Liquor Tax and/or 18% Service Charge/Gratuity (Cash bars excluded) and current applicable taxing; Prices are also subject to change.

5. The undersigned will agree to pay for any damage done to any part of the premises or equipment by any person invited by or on behalf of the undersigned.

HotelThis premiere Resort Lodge offers 80 guest suites, including 19 studios, 41 one bedroom and 20 two bedroomunits. Guests will enjoy a view of the ski slopes or the majestic Rocky Mountains from their lodge pole pinebalcony. Our suites are 50% larger than a regular hotel room, offering separate sleeping and living areas, awork area with two phone lines, a gas fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove,dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker.
