ECUMENICAL SERVICE An Ecumenical Prayer Service will take place in Callow Church on Wednesday
23rd
January at 8pm. This is for all the Parishes in the Cluster. Please come along.
A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY The date for First Confessions will be Wednesday 13th March 2013 at 8pm
in Killasser Church. The date for First Communion will be 21st April 2013 at 11.30am. These dates are now
fixed in stone. It would cause great inconvenience to many people if anoyone asked to change them now.
CALLOW CHOIR Callow Church Choir are requesting new members to come forward for singing. Please
contact Fr. John or Michael Fox 087 7546909.
COOLEGRANE LIGHTS COLLECTION Kevin Hughes would like to thank each and everyone who
travelled from far and near to see and donate to his Christmas Lighting Display at his home in Coolegrane,
Foxford. The Donations collected over the Christmas saeson amounted to €1,808. This money will go to the
Mayo Cystic Fibrosis Fund.
AGM Swinford and District Gardening Club will hold their AGM on Tuesday 29th
January at 8pm in the
Gateway Hotel. All members are requested to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Draw which was held in the Sheepwalk Bar on Saturday January 12th

FREE FITNESS EVENING The Foxford Leisure Centre will be hosting a FREE fitness evening on Monday

CLOONLYON 25 CARD DRIVE Cloonlyon Parents Association are running our 25 Card Drive every Friday
night at 9pm in the Pastoral Centre, Charlestown. Admission €5, Prizes Galore. The winners on Friday 11th

SUMMER FESTIVAL There will be a meeting, starting at 9pm, on Thursday, January 24th
in the Town Hall
Arts Centre, for a discussion about the proposed Charlestown Summer Festival. There is already much interest
expressed from the town and the wider area, and anyone keen to bring business and activity to the town this
summer is asked to attend.
MAYO STROKE SUPPORT GROUP Mayo Stroke Support Group will resume their 2013 meetings on
Thursday 31st January 2013, in The Tennis Club, Castlebar between 11.30am – 1pm. During 2013 meetings
will be bilocated between Castlebar and Ballina. The support group is for adults living with the experience of
stroke and their families/carers and friends. It aims to facilitate social activities, provide information, raise
awareness and offer support and practical advice on living with stroke. For further information, please contact
