INSTALLING POCKETS
Side Pockets Thread the LongHunter compression straps OVER the “back” of the Pocket (through anchor points) for best stability, and compress.
Possibles Pouch Either Regular or Large sized Possibles Pouches can affix in two places:1. the waistbelt (opposite your GunBearer
or2. lower pack sides at twin Velcro straps.
PullOutsAdd PullOuts to your pack by running a Snap Clip clip through any loop of webbing and the PullOut tab loop.

2. In conjunction with a Chamber (inside Top Hood): remove Chamber and thread the top loop of the PullOut through the metal 3 bar (on Chamber). Reinsert 3 bar back into Common Loop of your Top Hood

Inside your Hood: 1. Thread PullOut top loop through the com-mon loop. Run a Snap Clip through the end of the PullOut loop and secure.

Attach the Back Pouch top and bottom via common loops on the pack body. You can compress this Pouch by snugging the bungie over it.

Shoulder Sling
Using your Top Hood as a Lumbar Pack: inside, you’ll find a shoulder sling and waistbelt, allowing you to convert it instantly into a lumbar pack.

3 Bars let you affix the Hood to the LongHunter frame
The ChamberYour Top Hood comes with a Chamber for your valuables. Simply remove this and take it with you by sliding the 3 bars back through the common loops. Good storage for shoulder sling
Waistbelt. Remove the belt from the storage panel, and attach Delta Straps as shown. Attach your GunBearer to the waistbelt, and you have a fully fea-tured pack for quick jaunts
Shoulder Sling. Remove shoulder sling from the Chamber inside the Hood pocket and attach to the ladderlock buckles.

INSTALLING THE UPPER GUNBEARER
Thread the tab of the Upper GunBearer through the metal 3-bar as shown.

Shoulder strap
For proper fit: If the barrel is too near your face, try the following:Make sure Sternum strap is not too tight when pack is on. Lower the 3 bar on shoulder strap if the barrel is too close to your face - the tilt should be about a 20 - 30° angle.
INSTALLING THE CRADLEYour GunBearer Cradle should look like this.
Using the GunBearer: with the hand opposite the GunBearer, reach across and pull sharply outward on the end of the strap to pop the camlock open. Pull firearm out of the Cradle and level.

Place the firearm in the Cradle, and wrap the Upper GunBearer strap around the forend, push down on the Camlock until you feel it click (camlock should be on the bottom of your forend. Your firearm is now securely in place.

Fine Tuning: If the barrel is too near your face, try the following:1. Make sure Sternum Strap is not too tight. 2. Lower 3 bar on shoulder strap if the barrel is too close to your face - the tilt should be about a 20 - 30° angle.3. Move Cradle forward or backwards to change the angle of the weapon. It should be slightly behind your hip bone point4. Make sure the long gun is installed such that you can close the forend buckle on the bottom of the forend9.
Lower Attachments - 2 methods1. CargoChair StorageThread the 3-bar through the common loops ON BOTTOM OF THE FRAME. This allows you to position the platform under the bulk of the bag, providing additional support and stability. This is also the best position when using it as a chair (see p. 11).
2. CargoChair for FreightingYour pack BAG bottom has two common loop attachments on the bot-tom. Affix CargoChair here when you’re hauling gear AND large game.

ADDING A CARGOCHAIR™ pat. pend
Upper AttachmentsEach side of your bag has a triangle
loop. Thread the 3-bar through it.
CARGOCHAIR™ as a ChairWith the CargoChair attached to the frame, lengthen straps fully at the lad-derlock. Flip the platform 180° so it extends under the pack back. Take a seat, adjust for comfort. You now have a comfortable, back supporting seat - great for long sessions of glassing or resting by the campfire.

CONVERTING TO A FREIGHT HAULER
Installation Simply reverse the procedure.
When sliding frame back into the slot, make sure the
Triangle loops on the frame are pushed DOWN to avoid
discomfort to your back.

USING YOUR FREIGHT HAULERAdding the Top Hood. Add your Top Hood right to your frame for a day pack’s worth of volume. Just thread the 3bars of the Hood through the web-bing tabs sewn onto your frame. Do the same for the bottom.

Securing GameThe slot pocket on your CargoChair comes with 20 feet of cordage for tying game onto the frame using the sewn on web loops.
