The series is the poetic and dreamy representation of a childlike world, in which sweet colorful creatures live. The cute and candid Dixi, the small winged elephant who is the protagonist of the story, joins the other creatures as they experience joy, fun and problems. Dixi, helped by the small creatures that inhabit

the fantastic world of Dixiland, faces both small and large life challenges such as being able to accept himself, moodiness, and the embarrassment of first love. He does this with reassuring tranquility and timid joy, supported by the accompaniment of his friends playing their musical instruments continuously in a never ending parade.

The Star of Andra and Tati tells the true story of the Bucci sisters, Andra and Tatiana, who were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau with their family at the age of 4 and 6 years old during World War II. Separated from the mother, grandmother and aunt, they are sent to a “Kinderblok” with their young cousin, Sergio. Although precious family members are lost along the way, due to their own vigilance and the care of another sympathetic inmate

assigned to oversee fellow prisoners, the sisters manage to survive until the liberation of the camp. After transfer to Prague, and then to England, the sisters are finally reunited with their parents in Italy. Andra and Tati’s story is intertwined with the experience of a modern day school trip to that same concentration camp, which gives their lives and what they endured contemporary significance 75 years later.

Sherlock Hound is an Italian-Japanese animated television series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes series where almost all the characters are depicted as dogs. The series, nowadays considered a classic of world animation, is the last TV series

made by the great Japanese author Miyazaki. The action-packed show features regular appearances of Jules Verne steampunk style technology, adding a 19th-century science-fiction atmosphere to the series.

Bing is a nice small white and pink little animal. To entertain his new friend Elio, thanks to his magical glowing antenna he transforms the daytime sky into a sky full of stars and flying between them he joins them forming constellations. It will be up to Elio to guess the shapes represented by those constellations and the game will stimulate him to discover new shapes, new objects and new sounds. Great for learning skills and spelling.

Minivip and Supervip are two superbrothers who are very different from one another. One is as feeble and intelligent as the other is strong and naïve. Because of this, Minivip ended up with an inferiority complex and is now undergoing analysis from Mr. Doc, the most dishonest shrink in the world. In these comical sessions, Minivip tells him about his dreams, adventures and nightmares, which reveal the fears and anxieties that hound him outlining bizarre, humourous situations.

A fish tank. Two teenagers. Three minutes of pure fun. Hoppy is a sweet naïve little fish who’s always lived with the Carugati family: father, mother and two teenaged kids, Sara and Chris... who, like all teens, do nothing other than argue with each other and with their parents.

SOMALIA 94 THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF ILARIA ALPI

A 38’ one-man animated short film based on the real story of Ilaria Alpi, an Italian journalist who was killed in Mogadishu (Somalia) on 1994 together with her camera operator Miran Hrovatin. At the time of their murder, they were investigating on a case of weapon and toxic waste traffic between Western and developing countries, in which the institutions were involved together with criminality. The story follows the last weeks of life of the journalist and her cameramen, starting with the interview to an Italian diplomat, then following the two in Bosaso, in the northern Somalia, where they go deep into their investigation discovering the names of people involved into the affair. Once they return to Mogadishu to put together the result of their research, a seven-man commando unit is ready to eliminate them. The case is still ongoing in Italy and younger generation must be made aware of it.
