Summer League Format: Players will be assigned to a team. The athletes will learn fundamental skills, strategies and teamwork for the first half of each session. The remaining time each week will be spent in game play.

Fast Break Club Basketball Camp - Girls & Boys going into Grades 2-9

June 4th – 7th @ Grand Forks Central High School

The Grand Forks Fast Break Club has set up one summer basketball camp for boys and girls in Grand Forks and the surrounding area. This camp promises to show the fundamentals of basketball along with having fun. The camp will be coached by Grand Forks area coaches, including the Head Coaches from Grand Forks Central and Grand Forks Red River.

2018 Summer Performing Arts (SPA) for Elementary

Elementary SPA is a two-week session for students currently in grades K-5 in 2017-18. Creative dramatics, theatre games and exercises, and other activities are used to create action and fun during the summer. Students develop characters, create plays, and

perform for each other on a daily basis. On the last day there is a show-and-tell public performance. Facilities

Session Availability Classes do fill, and we do have a maximum capacity, so enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please select a 1st and 2nd choice. If both sessions have filled when we receive your form, we will contact you. To view a list of open sessions visit www.spacompany.org and click the "REGISTRATION" tab. We update these as soon as sessions close. You will receive a confirmation postcard regarding your child's enrollment. Sessions may be closed if there aren’t enough students enrolled to fill the class. Students must have completed Kindergarten by the start of session in order to enroll.

Performances There will be a show-and-tell performance on the last day of all sessions. Please refer to the schedule on the front of this form for times.

Registration Night There will be a registration night at Red River HS on Tuesday, April 10 from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please enter at the Performance Hall (Door #22). Some classes fill quickly (usually the Red River sessions) and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you cannot attend the registration night, please mail in your form on/after April 10. You can check online at www.spacompany.org and click on "REGISTRATION" to see if any sessions are full.

Fees x Please make checks payable to “GFPS”. x $80.00 for the two-week session. This also includes a SPA T-Shirt. x There is an additional $30.00 fee for students participating from outside of Grand Forks, ND. x Fee must accompany registration form or it will be returned (unless financial aid has been requested).

Enrolling in More Than One Session You may enroll in more than one session. We highly recommend that you register your student in two different locations in order to provide a more varied learning experience. The fee for an additional session is $70.00 (no t-shirt included).

Refunds If there is some reason that the student will not be able to participate, you may receive a refund of any fees paid minus the cost of the T-shirt, should the student wish to keep it. To request a refund, please contact the SPA office to receive a refund request form.

Financial Aid There are funds available for students in need of financial aid. Assistance guidelines follow those of the free and reduced lunch program. To apply, please submit a SPA Application for Financial Assistance form with your registration form in lieu of payment. If you do not have this form, please call the SPA office at (701) 746-2411 or download one from our website www.spacompany.org. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified by mail of the decision concerning your financial aid.
