HiGH aDventureit’s a week of unforgettable adventure for junior high and high school students. They will rock climb on major rocks, spend two days whitewater rafting and challenge our ropes course, all while being encouraged to grow closer to God.
WiLDerneSS & WHiteWaterThis ultimate adventure week for junior high and high school students includes all of the activities in the High adventure program, plus a three day backpacking trip. We can even shape your week as a custom-designed trip.
ecHoThis is a two week program for high school students focused on service and leadership training. Students will combine various work projects around camp with times of intense discipleship, all encouraging a stronger walk with God.

WHiteWater raftinGFrom our base camp at Happy Camp, California, you’ll enjoy up to four days of whitewater rafting on the mighty Klamath river. We’ll raft heart-pounding class iii & iV rapids with stops for cliff jumping and great hikes in to dramatically beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes.
rocK cLimbinGTrekking into the wilderness, groups take a short hike to one of our favorite granite faces. a clear view of Mount Shasta and the expanse of God’s creation make this an exciting place to relax, while taking on the challenge of this beginner to intermediate climb.
ropeS courSeSet up in the glorious pine trees here at Kidder Creek, this course has elements to stretch anyone both physically and mentally. it’s a way for individuals to both challenge themselves and encourage each other.
bacKpacKinGour three-day backpacking adventure matches all experience levels, offering a challenge unlike any other. Groups will hike in to base camp at Campbell Lake. From there you can rock climb at the summit and take relaxing swims in the lake. The time is perfect for establishing deeper group unity. Combine this with whitewater rafting for the ultimate experience.

action. That is why each of our activities is adventure- based.
purpoSe Kidder Creek’s purpose is to design and run customized
adventure-based programs using our unique setting, high
adventure program elements and experienced personnel. our
goal is to satisfy the needs of youth pastors and outreach
ministries in building teams committed to growing deeper with
Christ and with each other.
proGram Kidder Creek is located at the top of California, with the
Marble Mountain Wilderness and Klamath National Forest out
our back door. These outdoor arenas offer us opportunities
for whitewater rafting, rock climbing and backpacking in an
action-packed camping environment. We package these activities
in ways that highlight God’s natural playground and integrate
God’s powerfully transforming Word.
as a youth pastor from Southern California, for years i
wanted my students to have camping experiences that were
action packed, socially invigorating, physically stretching,
and spiritually challenging. Well, this is how we’ve designed our
programs at Kidder Creek.
