Dear Friends,

I hope you've had a wondeful summer! Mostly the current has been fast and furious for me, but I've had a chance to stop at least once and just float in the sun. :) Here's a photo of me on a family raft trip on the Colorado River. We call the family boat "Big Orange Pumpkin'..."

I am so grateful for the generosity that you all have shown in pre-ordering my upcoming record so that I can fund a proper release campaign for IF THE STATIC CLEARS . It feels so good to be taking my music and my career seriously - and you guys are creating the opportunity for me to do that. THANK YOU! I can already feel the growth underway.

The great news: Of the 60 days allotted to the campaign, we have 30 days left, and just a little over 50% of the goal to be raised. As you probably know about Kickstarter campaigns, if I don't meet the goal by the deadline, I don't receive any of the funding. I think it can be done, however! We're pretty steadily on target. I wonder if we could hit the full 50% today? If you've been meaning to kick, consider making your contribution now, before life takes you into the current once again....
