Responsibilities
Responsible for working with the Milstein Center in setting REA’s direction/agenda for the year and for ensuring that
the agenda is executed
Co-Presidents should expect to be in constant communication with every officer position to provide assistance,
motivation and feedback throughout the year and often asked to respond to requests from other organizations,
outside business professionals, CBS administration, REA members, and prospective students
Co-Presidents should expect to represent REA at all club fairs and panels for prospective/incoming students and
directly responsible for implementing elections for AVP’s during the Fall semester and VP’s during the Spring
Semester
Responsible for holding meetings over the course of the year to make sure that all club officers are on the same
page and collectively working toward implementation of the agenda.
From a higher level, Co-Presidents are expected to provide leadership, vision, and strong character in all dealings
with REA members, CBS students/faculty/staff, and the business community at large.

Responsibilities
● Responsible for organizing mentorship program

● In addition to identifying speakers, the VP’s will be responsible for promoting the event through advertising among
members and moderating the actual discussions
● REA liaison for annual alumni event
● The goal of this position is to keep students “plugged into” current industry issues by engaging with leading alumni

Responsibilities
Work with the Milstein Center to grow and strengthen the connection between REA membership and the real estate
community at large
Primary responsibilities include planning and coordinating career panels
This position is also the primary point of contact for companies seeking a recruiting relationship with REA and the
real estate program at CBS (in conjunction with Career Management Services), and those wanting to directly inform
students of job openings

Case CompetitionsVice President: Joseph Noon
Responsibilities
Entering CBS REA members in case competitions (UT McCombs in the Fall Semester, UNC Kenan-Flagler in the
Spring Semester)
Advertising the case competitions among the REA membership, coordinating tryouts and training for case
competitions, galvanizing student, instructor, and alumni expertise

Communications & TechVice President: Conor O’Neill
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for sending out weekly e-mail communication newsletters to the membership, keeping
the REA website up to date on a regular basis (weekly or bi-weekly at a minimum), and keeping the e-mail
distribution lists updated
E-mail communications (newsletters) typically focus on event announcements and job opportunities
Updating the website includes adding officer contact info for the present school year, updating all event
This position will also be responsible for maintaining REA’s section of the current event management system utilized
by CBS

EducationVice President: Daniel Liu and John Pollock
Responsibilities
Create opportunities for REA members to acquire “hands-on” skills they will need to be successful in their initial
internship and full-time job experiences
Responsibilities include assisting with preparation of educational materials and setting up for education events
Reaching out to alumni and instructors for workshops and case studies

Responsibilities
Acts as a liaison between the REA and EMBA students interested in the real estate industry

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for all budgeting, financial reporting, and expense re-imbursement/payment processing
This position will work closely with the club presidents and the Milstein Center to ensure that the club maintains its
strong financial standing
This position will also be responsible for approving all expense reimbursements and payments/transfers to external
vendors or internal organizations (other clubs)

Responsibilities
Promote the REA amongst the international student community at CBS
Support REA members with international interests or backgrounds
Coordinate with other VPs to integrate international components into REA programming
Develop REA resources and activities that are of value to the international portion of the membership
Planning international real estate matter talks

J-TermVice President: Nicole Atoyan
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining strong interest in REA among fellow J-Termers over the summer while regular term
students complete internships
Reaching out to the incoming J-Term classes the following year (VP’s 2nd Year) to promote membership in REA
and general awareness of upcoming events (especially the Chazen International Study Trip)
This position should only be pursued by a member of the 1st Year J-Term class

Responsibilities
● Plan and Execute REA site tours to a diverse set of real
estate projects in the Greater NYC Area several times
throughout the year
● Responsibilities include reaching out to local developers
and owners to organize site tours and coordinating and
managing the tours along with the developer

Responsibilities
Work with the Milstein Center and Chazen Institute to plan, organize, and coordinate Chazen International Study
Trip to explore a compelling international real estate market (past trips include Mexico, China, and South America)
Responsibilities include reaching out to companies in foreign locations to set up company meetings with 20-25
students, working with travel agents to plan all trip logistics (hotel, airline transportation, ground transportation, site
visits, cultural events, meals, etc.), advertising the trip and educating REA members, acting as a liaison to the
Chazen Institute to ensure that all appropriate Chazen guidelines are met, and being physically present on the trip to
help ensure smooth execution (Please do not run if are not 100% sure that you will make the trip!)
The VP should expect to hold numerous planning meetings from October through March
Note: VPs and AVPs of Trips must attend Spring trip
