The trailer starts with a voice over. Which is a source of narrative for the audience. We are able to have a brief summary of what the film is about, and therefore audiences can decided whether they think it looks good or not.

The sounds are a range of non dietetic sounds of a city, cars and police sirens ect.

The music is “Stand up” and “Bad Reputation”.

KICK ASS – STORY LINE

It tells the story of an ordinary teenager, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), who sets out to become a real-life superhero, calling himself "Kick-Ass". Dave gets caught up in a bigger fight when he meets Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage), a former cop who, in his quest to bring down the crime boss Frank D'Amico (Mark Strong) and his son (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), has trained his eleven-year-old daughter (Chloë Grace Moretz) to be the ruthless vigilante Hit-Girl.
