Font StyleThis font that I am writing in is the Bell MT Italic, I have chosen this one for the simple fact that my character I am doing for the profile page is a famous writer Charles Dickens. This font I have chosen is a hand written style which fits perfectly, Charles Dickens was a book writer and would have drafted out his works in pen, so this style of font reflects that. On researching the time period, the kind of style of writing of the early 1800s seems to be similar to this style. Mood Boards.

These mood boards I have produced are ideas for page layouts which I found in one of my books at home ‘Dr. Who Secret Life of Monsters’ that had a lot of interesting and thought provoking designs. Again, they are very in keeping with the style of the 1800s and that ‘Dickensian’ type feel. I like the way that the

pages look stylised, the pictures are angled in an eye catching, I like the way it looks like a scrap book, with pieces of text and information presented in an interesting way, for example in the style of parchment paper, laid out in different coloured sections to make it appealing. I particularly liked the page featuring Queen Victoria because she was alive during this time period so the picture and the textured paper gives a rough idea of how a page would’ve looked in the 1800s. I also like the image of the wax seal, this is a nice, effective touch.

This particular mood board is a compilation of different assets from the 1800s showing the different styles of fonts they used, the different paper styles and the overall aesthetics of the 1800s.The Designs/ ThumbnailsWireframes The wireframe enclosed with this is a rough idea of how I would like the whole page to look and where the images and text is going to go, where the buttons are going to go and where I am going to place the videos. ThumbnailsThe thumbnails are drawings of different assets that I am thinking of using such as some of the design drawings, e.g. the weapons that I designed. The storyboard shows how the interactions will work and how the buttons will function, in general how the whole page will function.

ProfileThe profile that I made is a Facebook one. I made a profile on Louis Deguerre. In order to do this I had to research into his history, I used this information and brought it into the modern age by creating a profile page. This included images if him, his date of birth, what he created, key events in his life, timelines of events and using this to create status updates relating to these events. I researched Charles Dickens as a part of this because he was around during the same time period. This was because our organisation was a spy organisation, we were asked to come up with creative ideas about who Louis could recruit as a spy. When I discovered Charles Dickens was around at that time I thought it would be a good idea to have him as a spy. I thought this would be a good twist. It was a good idea because I could do a lot of research into Charles Dickens as he was an existing, well-known person. On researching Charles Dickens I learnt about his style of writing in his books. I tried to incorporate this style of language into the writing on my Facebook page and the dossier to make it seem more realistic.

ColoursI am personally going to be using some blacks and a series of orange and yellows to the colour schemes to give it a really nice flare. I want to be vibrant and eye catching. This is also to give it an old style, dirty feel so that it looks like it is worn down and ancient.
