Occupational health and safety is a priority for HSSG, and its strong safety record is a key competitive advantage. HSSG is committed to providing a safe, healthy and positive working environment for its employees and those under its care.

It aims to eliminate all class-one accidents (an accident that results in fatality or permanently alters a person’s life) and to minimise, and ultimately eliminate, all lost-time accidents on its sites. Safety management committees undertake monthly safety audits of every project, to ensure their compliance with the safety policy and international certification OHSAS18001:2007 for the Group’s occupational health and safety system.
