At this year's conference we will explore the complicated relationship between conservationand recreation while asking ourselves, “How can we cultivate common ground to ensure asustainable future for Colorado’s outdoors?”

We are looking for session proposals that:Advance the strategies and goals identified in Colorado's Statewide ComprehensiveOutdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP).Provide opportunities for audience engagement.Include perspectives from diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Partnership In-Focus: GEM TrailPartnership In-Focus: GEM TrailWe are excited to announce the completionof the "GEM Trail" - our newest TrailsProgram project. Located just outside ofSteamboat Springs, the GEM featuresspectacular scenery and outdoor recreationfor mountain bikers, hikers, equestrians andhunters alike.

The GEM Trail was developed via apartnership between the U.S. ForestService, the Routt County Riders andColorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW). Thisproject was funded by a grant from CPW'sStatewide Trails Program.
