NOTES ON INSTALLATION Please read and understand all instructions prior to beginning the installation process. Pre-fit all panels as you proceed with the installation before attempting to bolt into position. This will enable you to understand exactly how the part is intended to fit onto vehicle. Do NOT over-tighten screw. If the instructions call for you to save and re-install parts set them aside in a protected area so as not to damage them.

Step 1. Locate and position supplied driver side rock slider (A) onto the Jeep chassis (make sure the rock slider is leveled). Using the holes in the rock slider as a guide, mark the side of the vehicle. (You will need the help from an assistant to hold the rock slider in place).

Step 1. Assemble nutsert tool as shown supplied M10x1.5 hex head bolt (E) with supplied M10 flat washer (F) with supplied spacer (H) and into supplied M10 nutsert (D).

INSTALLING ROCK SLIDER

Step 2. Remove rocker guard and set aside in a protected area. Center punch the previously applied marks for drilling. Using a ½” drill bit drill the marked holes.

Step 2. Place supplied nutsert (D) into the previously drilled holes.

Step 3. Using two 17mm wrenches hold the supplied bolt in place while turning the suppled spacer clockwise with a 17mm wrench. As you turn the wrench, the bolt will draw the far end of the nutsert towards the inside of the sheet metal, gripping it with the knurled outside edge of the nutsert as it deforms. Continue to turn the wrench until the nutsert is fully pressed against the sheet metal. Note: DO NOT over tighten nutsert as you can damage the nutsert and cause it to lose its grip.

This completes the installation.

Step 4. Once the nutsert is installed, loosen the spacer by turning the wrench counter clock wise then remove it and the rest of the tool from the nutsert. Inspect the nutsert to make sure it is properly seated against the vehicle sheet metal fig 1. Repeat step 1-4 for remaining nutserts.

INSTALLING ROCK SLIDER

Step 1. With help from an assistant place supplied rock slider onto vehicle. Line up the holes in the rock slider with the previously installed nutserts. Place supplied M10x1.5x30mm hex head bolt with supplied M10 split washer (G) and supplied flat washer (F) through the hole in the rock slider and onto previously installed nutsert. Finger tighten only. Repeat step for remaining bolts. Tighten down bolts using a 17mm socket. Repeat step for other side.
