1 KENT COUNTY CRICKET CLUB Return to Play Guidance for Outdoor Training and Games at Kent Cricket We have been working hard to ensure we can re-open our venues safely and that our staff and our guests have the confidence to be able to return to the grounds. In order to comply with government guidelines and to allow us to work safely, we ask that you and your guests, colleagues and teammates read and adhere to the following measures we have put in place: All visitors should self-assess for Covid-19 symptoms before attending the ground. Government guidance should be followed if a visitor is symptomatic or living in a household with Covid-19 infection and that vistor should not attend site. Personal hygiene measures should be carried out by everyone attending the venue, including hand washing and using hand sanitisers. There will be a hand sanitiser dispenser on the entrance to the 3G pitch and Netball courts please sanitise your hands before entry and on exit. All players should arrive changed and ready to take part in the session. All kit bags and personal belongs must be kept in a safe and secure area. All equipment and rubbish (e.g disposable water bottles) must be taken away and disposed of appropriately at the end of each session. Players should bring their own drink or refreshments, and these should ideally be labelled with a name and kept in a secure and safe area. The sharing of kit should be avoided, but where necessary it should be cleaned before and after it is used by another person. Changing areas are currently not to be used, however toilets will be accessible. Players to ARRIVE, TRAIN, LEAVE please start and finish on time and no hanging around please. KENT COUNTY CRICKET CLUB

Return to Play Guidance for Outdoor Training and Games at Kent Cricket

COVID-19 Precautionary Measures

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND CONGREGATING

DO always follow the below guidelines

✓ Stay at home if you have a high fever or a persistent dry cough.

✓ Stop handshaking and other physical greetings.

✓ Keep a personal distance of 2 meters wherever possible. ✓ You are recommended to walk, cycle or use a private car to travel to the

venue. ✓ You should not car share unless all other passengers live within the same

household as you.

DO NOT

DO NOT Congregate in groups for a social chat.

DO NOT Go nearer than 2 meters to someone else if it can be avoided.

PERSONAL HYGIENE

DO always follow the below guidelines

✓ Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water before you visit the

venue.

✓ Wash your hands after visiting the toilets.

✓ All equipment assigned to specific users must be wiped down with anti-

bacterial or alcohol wipes.

✓ Dispose of or wash PPE after each use.

DO NOT:

DO NOT Commence work/training/playing before washing your hands.

DO NOT Take products / PPE provided for the safety of you and your colleagues off of the premises for your own personal use.

TAKING GUARD

COVID-19 safety measures in place at Kent Cricket

We have been working hard to ensure we can re-open our venues safely and that our staff and our guests have the confidence to be able to return to the grounds.

In order to comply with government guidelines and to allow us to work safely, we have taken the following steps to ensure the health and safety of our staff and our guests.

Coming to Work DO NOT come onto site if showing symptoms associated with COVID-19 or are feeling unwell.

Social Distancing

Strict social distancing measures and clear guidance around the venues. Maximum capacity signs on rooms to promote social distancing.

Hygiene

Hand sanitising stations can be found throughout the venues. All staff and visitors advised to also wash hands thoroughly throughout the day.

Welfare All staff to complete temperature checks and a health questionnaire before they come in to work. Risk Assessments have been done for all areas of the business.

Staff Training Kent Cricket has designated COVID-19 Officers and a COVID-19 Medical Officer. Staff are working to new operational procedures and have PPE tailored to their role.

Cleaning Contract Cleaners back on site doing deep cleans, high contact touchpoint cleaning and using virucidal spray. Staff asked to also clean and sanitise work stations and equipment.

Overview: The County Ground is due to re-open for Outdoor Bookings only from Monday 27th July 2020. This risk assessment identifies the hazards that could occur based on the current UK Coronavirus pandemic and the measurements put in place by Kent Cricket to limit risk. Sports bookings will be made in advance by email and the Venue Operations Executive or a Duty Officer will be on site to manage the club operations.

This risk assessment covers outside bookings only on the 3G football pitch, Netball Courts and grass playing fields.

If a worker or customer develops a high temperature or a persistent cough whilst at work, they should:

- Ensure their manager, supervisor or coach is informed

- Return home immediately

- Avoid touching anything

- Cough or sneeze into a tissue and put it in a bin, or if they do not have tissues, cough and sneeze into the crook of their elbow.

- They must then follow the guidance on self-isolation and not return to work until their period of self-isolation has been completed.

guidance for non-hospital facilities cleaning.
