Coach Sewell Says: Despite this being his second year playing, he is a two-year starter for the Cougars, and this year plays both Offense and Defense, as well as being the Kicker. Lorenzo scored the Cougars’ first touchdown of the season versus Harper-Archer, and also kicked a Touchback during the game against Kipp Academy. In addition to being a wonderful athlete, he is also a great teammate and student. Keep it up Lorenzo!

My best moment was at the beginning of football cheerleading this year because it was fun teaching all of the new cheerleaders the cheers and bonding with everyone and becoming their friend and leader.

Younger student athletes should cherish their coaches because they help you achieve your goals and even if they push you harder than you want, they know what they’re doing and you’ll thank them in the end.

development-‐one being Mrs. Tate. She was my math teacher last year. She really inspired me to be a math teacher. Mrs. Tate gave me student friendly notes, admitted her own mistakes, and challenged me. Her teaching made me want to change students’ lives just as she did.
